History of MOBA'S

1.Dota --> (Defence of the Ancients)

2.HoN --> (Like Dota but better, ALOT BETTER!)

3.Crappy Copies i.e LoL and RoI (mainstream)

4. Dota 2

List of what LoL doesn't have:
-Denying: You can't deny creeps/towers/team members.
-Lost of gold when dying
-Late game heroes
That's all i can think of but LoL is more noob friendly..

Fixed it for you.
As an 1800 MMR and regular LoL player. I can tell you that both games have their pros and cons.

Sure you can't deny on LoL, but LoL has almost 4 activate-able abilities + two summoner spells. Totaling 6 active skills on almost all champions.
Most Heroes on HoN have like... 3 tops some even only two. Swiftblade... Night hound... Flint...

The fog of war is a lot more difficult to deal with on LoL, Brush makes it extremely hard with fog. HoN's wards reveal so much of the map. Where LoLs is just a small radius.

No late game champions? Are you kidding me? Every game like HoN and DotA etc have a mix of all types of champions / heroes.
HoN has ridiculous amounts of crowd control, stuns galore. LoL only has a few, its mainly slows.

With this HoN also has a VOIP system which is good and bad. It makes communicating with your team easier, but you also have to put up with the ragers.
Matchmaking in LoL is better than HoNs, and waiting around for 30 minutes for an Aussie server public game is just stupid.

You called me a 10 year old before, no I am not a 10 year old in fact I am 14 so please get your facts right. Also how you said first DotA then HoN then shitty copies like LoL and that, that mean that HoN copied DotA aswell. According to your logic if a game is like that it copied it. So that means all shooting games copied each other which is hardly true. So don't say that there are shitty copies like LoL out there because if LoL is a copy then so is HoN.

Games have pros and cons.

HoN/DotA has a harder learning curve.

So....you dont want someone to post about LoL but you then call the game crappy, im not an "ignorant LoL player" i just find it amazing that you could be so stupid as to state that LoL is a crappy copy of HoN when the only thing the two games really hold in common is that they are both RTS games BUT THEN after calling every other major game in the genre shitty you expect everyone NOT to debate it.

If you want to find friends then i suggest you do it without knocking other games that way people stay on topic.

At the end of my post is an example of a successful "other game" thread, you will see that i dont knock any other games and i get peoples usernames for LoL ( the reason i created the thread )

Please learn from this thread and in future when you start a thread keep to the topic you intended and not mention or bash other games.

HoN is terrible IMO, I prefer LoL so much better but DotA is the original, can't beat DotA.

all those games are totally different in gameplay, LoL being the most easiest imo.

If the one about gold is highlighted (cant really tell with the quote) the only gold u lose in LoL is when you die and are unable to last hit creeps. But u dont lose a sum of gold upon death like in Hon and dota.
