Does DTK have any plans for CS:GO?

I'm probably gonna get it, just because, and I'm wondering if there will be a (or more that one) dtk server, because it would be fun :P

I haven't heard much about it tbh. New servers fall under [C]ouncil control, so i'm not sure what they are planning.

We are a counterstrike community, and i have no doubts that we would branch out to GO at SOME point. We may have a server ready for release, we may sit on it and wait to get some feedback. But at the end of the day, we cater for the players, and if most of the players move to GO, i'm sure we will too.

With how long we have till release, council has got heaps of time to work it out.

CS:GO release is still in closed beta =p! I currently have a beta key for it, Its actually looking really good tbh. Its a nice mix between 1.6 & source. However the awp is currently OP as, which they will fix.

However the buying system is a little weird.

The AWP isnt overpowered.

Very excited for CS:GO btw, and a DtK server would be boss. I guess it all depends on how modifiable it is, whether the whole DtK moves to it, since if it wasn't we'd lose heaps of our servers.

Its playing on the same Source engine as source pretty much. All DTK will need to do, is most likely update the servers to the new version of the game.

I most likely will play competitive again if CS:GO takes off. Which im 99% sure it will.

i believe valve has already made the server host files available for the beta, but with the beta in closed testing its useless to anyone without a key.

Thats only what i've heard on the grape vine. Could be a farse.

The engine is same however it's 2 different games, very much like CS 1.6 and CSS [minus the different engines - goldsource and source]

As for CS:GO DtK Servers: we have been following GO very closely and impressed with the progress. DtK GO servers is certainly not out of the question. We will make an official statment once we have more information and are certain about a few things.

a better question will it work? ill probably buy it but atm it doesnt look very good,Id rather have a true sequel after episode3/hl3(whenever that happens.........)
