Is it me or is the use of wall hacks on the rise? seems like alot of bans are for walling, and thats the ones that people have noticed, how many users are on these servers using wall hacks...............scarey and annoying!

I think you might be right and even with the demos i am taking its hard to prove, i think people are getting skilled at using them as well

IMO it's pathetic for anyone who does it, regardless of whatever excuse they give themselves and or other people to try and justfiy it when they're caught.

As squat said even with a demo its hard to prove they're actually walling... Don't know why anyone would want to hack anyway would make it too easy take the fun out of it

There actually more wallers than you think... I have known of some long time good players being caught out walling and I would have never known... It is on the rise.. I

I don't see thre point in using wallhacks, who cares if you don't win or if your not the best aren't games about having fun and playing with great people in a great community.

But yes, i have noticed more and more people being banned for wallhacks, also i believe that speedhacks/anti recoil might slowly be on the rise as well

love looking at the dtkbans page and seeing the permanent bans. the honest one out there are doing a good job getting demos in.

still suss on a shitload of players with ridiculous scores and headshot counts thru the roof.

Get rid of skins... And we'll get rid of 90% of wallers. The other 10% of wallers(hackers) would be the x22 with the whole works.. Not just material hacks.

i belive that there are heaps using wall hacks even some dtk members but i cant prove it. to hack is to cheat your self out of fun,

If i had my way, id be going old school on people caught cheating, 40 ♥♥♥♥en lashes! (as well as a perm ban). A material punishment will discourage users of cheats. I also believe one of the most insidious cheats is the ability to toggle anti recoil. Almost impossible to spot unless someone watches in secret, and even then its still hard to spot. What i really dont get though, is those that seem to have not no recoil, but reduced recoil compared to others.

Yes it's definitely a pain. The other problem is now that CS:S is so much more affordable, people have multiple accounts and don't care if 1 or 2 get banned. The hacks are just going to get more and more complex to avoid being detected at all. I wonder if cs:go will have any new anti- hack applications or abilities. No doubt someone will create a working hack within hours of the games release All we can do is to try to assist admins as much as possible by always taking a demo of seemingly suspicious players. Every little bit helps everyone.

alot of people cheat nowadays the only thing we can do is bust them one by one and you guys should also share your sourceban directory with GotGames and CyberGamer.
