Reason why I haven't wrote up an intro for myself when I joined is because the people I played alongside already knew me ingame, no reason for people I don't know to have unwanted info.
When I played DtK servers last year (2010), It was Office DM and Jailbreak. Back then, people who had the DtK tag were people who made the server (as in made the server fun).
I can't remember names, but they made me want to be part of this community. I don't know if they were admins or just players, but things were more laidback. Things like trolls, it wasn't common. Someone may troll a bit, and we would laugh about it (maybe its different these days).
No one asked me to join, apart from the spam from console in chat; saying join dtk at <website>. There was also this server warp feature, so I could find other dtk servers i was unaware of.
When I made my application to join, I made it a bit of a laugh, saying i want the clan tag or something, because my impression of dtk members was a bunch of people in a community to have fun and get to know other regular players on their servers. So I put in a non-serious response.
I must say, back in my highschool years of playing this game (CSS) whenever I had time, I was a lot more sharper and aimmed like a GG rand. I wouldn't know how to compare, because the game has changed quite abit since then.
I like the motto senator said; "If you don't like it, f*** off."
and that is exactly what I am going to do.
The only finger pointing im going to do is, to the people who are still in DtK and have made me enjoy playing the game, while in the same server as them.
Krezand, Knitting, Enzome, Tiramisu, Geesix, Aleid, Cass, Renji and finally Effa because she NZ AU something.
My stay is overdue, I hoped it would get better, but it continued to go downhill. If you look at the reason I joined and look at dtk now, you'll understand why I don't want to be a part of it anymore.
Later Squall, send DtK to the direction you think is best. Its long sailing from here.
