First and foremost, I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank Kreuger for inviting me a year ago to join what is positively one of, if not the best gaming community I've ever had the privilege of being a part of.


I would also like to thank all of Council for trusting me enough to offer me the opportunities to get as involved with the Dying to Kill community as I have been. I've been more than happy to rise to the challenge of the role's I have been entrusted with within DTK and I've always done my best to make decisions that are the best and fairest for all concerned.


I've decided it's time to make a decision and stick with it regarding a few things, one of them being my administrative involvement with DTK.


I've been contemplating the decision to step down from any and all administrative roles for a long time, however I've been too stubborn in wanting to continue to help this community grow not only in quantity but in quality as well.


Right now, battling my illness and the extra stresses that I'm having to deal with in my own life is all piling down on me at once, proving to be too much and I need to start putting some major focus on getting my own life back on track.


I've tried the approach of just taking a step back, however due to my nature of needing to keep myself busy and wanting to make sure I'm still doing at least something, the step backs turned into a little bit more and a little more til I'm back to the same workload anyway. So as hard as this has been to come to a decision about, I feel it's needed.


I've no intentions of leaving DTK and I'll still come and play on the servers, so don't bother thinking your nuts are safe from me shooting them, nor that your backs will be safe in GG DM from my knife.


I am confident that DTK will keep growing and continue to set the standards for quality of game play on all server types DTK already has and will venture into in the future.

Indeed, while i may not have been directly influenced by Becca very much, i know full well the role she has had here as i was around when she first joined. A mighty big thank you to Becca for her efforts in the HR role, and for her efforts as a good person.

However, id like add Frag to my thanks, as he has been around nearly as long, and has also contributed significantly to this community. Hopefully Tonic, Frag, S15 and whoever the 2 new HR people are going to be can pick up where Becca left off, and elevate the community to new heights.

I really don't know what I can say that will prove worthy of just what Becca has done for this community...

Through both brute force and complete courage, Becca has fought to keep the JB server not only running, but FUN. She has given countless hours of HER time for this community, and look at the results. JB is something like 3rd in AUS of ALL CSS servers, DtK is growing astoundingly fast, and a large percentage, if not ALL of DtK is in her debt in a way we cannot repay.

I am relieved she is not leaving DtK, and I feel this is the best decision for her, and hope she can get her life back on track.

Nobody has been more deserving of a Jedi rank than Becca.

Wow.

I can honestly say you have all managed to render me speechless. This is why it's taken this long to say thank you for the well wishes and support.
I honestly was expecting to have to get used to the Veteran tag, but in saying that, I am genuinely humbled by the support and the decision to put me in as a Jedi instead. I give my word that decision will not be a regretable one. =)

For those who have been asking me if I'm leaving DTK.

No way in hell am I leaving the best gaming community/clan. I promise I'll still be around here on the forums and the servers, just not as much.
While I am on the servers I'll be doing my best to continue promoting the fun and fair gaming that has drawn so many (including myself) to DTK.

Becca thanks for everything you've done for DTK and JB in particular. You played a big part in getting me to join this clan when I first joined DTK almost a year ago. Thanks for that and it will be good to see on the servers still but most importantly a well deserved break from all your duties.
