Possible Solution to !cp bans failing?

I have noticed alot lately that people seem to be joining our servers just to ruin the fun time other people are having. As soon as you try to !cp ban them, they leave and wait until the vote is over, and come back again. Also a fair few people understand the system well enough to avoid it entirely.

Last incident I found on GG10, was that after a little friendly banter between him and I, he decided he had a problem, repeatedly teamkilled the CTs, and had HLDJ playing etc etc. However he has a bind that will type "voteban Cassonberry" and then choose "hacking" as the option. He presses this bind over and over until the wait time is over to start a new ban...

So I started thinking that maybe it is a good idea to change the plugin, so when a vote is initiated for ban/kick/mute etc., the player that is the subject of the vote is not shown the box.

However I can only think of 1 pro, and several possible cons.

Pros:

• Problem people will not know it is happening, and will not leave

Cons:

• Can be abused much more easily
• If a legit player is being votebanned, unless it is exclaimed over chat (as it usually is anyway) will not know, and won't be able to explain that it is wrong. This could be a big problem on GG#4.
• Anybody can use it

So perhaps !cp could also be limited to DtK members only on ALL servers, not just jailbreak. I think that it should be a privileged, and to get it, they have to prove themselves and earn it.

on minigames i reckon that the public should only get the option to burn someone because alot of people go afk and u cant do anything if they are. when there are no admins on minigames there are alot of trolls that decide its funny to mute and kick people for fun. it gets very annoying and it ruins the game most of the time.

its an idea that is workable cass, but as you have already pointed out the cons far out weigh the pros so i don't see how this would help the problem without causing new ones.

Like Sly Fox said, I think It would need to be trialed. GG10 seems like a good candidate for that!
