In addition to trying to improve the quality of our JB server, i wrote this post:
Simon says can be a particuly messed up game in JB. There are many little details that are stuck to like glue by the ct's trying to slaughter any t possible. lets start with the basics:
1) Warden: Ok t's, we're now playing a game of simon says.
2)Warden: Simon says jump: *t's jump, shot dead* "I didn'y say i am simon or simon says has started?
Well if you aren't simon, then why did you kill the t's for following your orders?
3)Simon says i am simon.
How can simon say that the warden is simon if there isn't a simon already? shouldn't it be The Warden Says i am Simon?
4)Simon says all t's jump: *T's jump, shot dead*
"Simon didn't say simon says has started"
Well you just told me that you are simon, so i am following your orders!?
Further more, if the original order before simon says started was "All t's unstack along the wall, stay on the wall once there" Then doesn't that imply that t's can jump? So if we aren't playing simon says then t's are entitled to jump on their spot on the wall!?
5) All t's go to my spray: *t's move, shot dead* THIS IS IMPORTANT: As you are the warden, and as you put it, simon says hasn't started, then thats an order for all t's to move! If you shoot them for not moving, you didn't say no detours no delays etc
6) Simon Says Simon Says has started: Don't know about you, but when i was in year 2 playing simon says, i don't recall simon being required to say this.
7) All T's Jump: *t's jump, shot dead*. Now if you want to have to say simon says has started then i probably believe you want to be this technical: If YOU are simon (as claimed), and You say All T's Jump whether or not you said simon says it is automatic as you are simon and whatever you say simon says? this is just really technical and probably unecessary so disregard this point.
As you can see, people have turned simon says into a really technical game from when i was young, which i suppose to a point is neccesary as anyone who isn't legally disabled shouldn't get mixed up in simon says so heres a few suggestions: Try and mix up simon says, as well as give more complicated orders, try and overlap simon says with oter games such as soccer *e.g. All t's start soccer, kill moving t's, Simon says all t's start soccer etc.
Just another way to help you guys be better and more creative wardens
