Vent channel?

I'm kind of a noob with Ventrillo, so yeah.

How do I log into Vent under Cassonberry. Do I use my forum password or something else?
Sorry for the noob question, but yeeahhhs...

ALSO would teK be able to get a passworded vent channel whenever someone gets free time? We have been using PUG#1 but people (especially IMPACT) Have been coming in and spamming mic. Thanks

ok here ill tell you pay attention

• start off by double clicking ventrilo =)

1. you should see 'user name' click the arrow that looks like this -> click it
2. click 'new name'
3. type in cassonberry
4. click ok

• add dtk as a sever

1. find the word 'server'
2. click the arrow to the right that looks like ->
3. click 'new'
4. type 'DtK'
5. next to hostname or ip put 118.127.0.79
6. next to port put 6188
7. click 'ok'

Your done click 'connect' to log onto DtK's vent =)

Done cass, You have a tek channel in vent with a pw, moo and Watto know it, so ask them for the password, As for ventrillo user name.
there is no pw to ventrillo, But assigned Pw to users when they get their dtk tag, which gives them certain privileges to different channels with user authentication levels.

you can make a new user on Ventrillo with the name you want just need to reput the vent details in if you do.

Thanks enzome i meant to get the tag like the old ventwas set up. I used to have a password

For me it appears as [Guest] Gloom. I just leave it as that, because I dont know how to do it correctly

Enzome by the look of it, the tek channel doesnt have a password...

When I joined it, I didnt need to enter a password and it all works fine..

EDIT: Just got Impact to try joining, and he can join. so No, it doesnt :P
