CSS not opening any one help me?

This justed started recently (like 3-4 days ago) when i try to open my CSS it comes up with the preparing to launch screen and then cancels itself and nothing happens?
Ive tried trobleshooting the problem like making sure all the correct drivers are installed and my windows is up to date blah blah blah and i tried contacting steam support but go no response.

Has anyone had this problem before or anyone know how to fix this? would be greatly appreciated

Try restarting your computer, also go into your counterstike folder and open it from there.

i got it to open hah but now it crashes jsut before i enter the server soo annoying i have no idea why its doing it

Try re-install.

Change the start-up resolution out of game. When you launch it again it should work and then reset the resolution to what you had it as before in game.
EDIT: In steam just right click css, properties, set launch options and enter -w800 to change the res.

Also Verify integrity of game cache, and delete local game content by going to your steam games, right click css, click properties and going to the "local files" tab.
