To be honest i am disgusted....
Before i start i will take into consideration that Most of the people interferring WERE NOT dtk members, but there were a few.

Guys DevilsNinja saw the olympics and he thought, "Hey!, how about i make a Hockey tournament!" He decided to get creative and take time out of HIS schedule to do something CREATIVE and FUN for all.... Instead we had a bunch of people, shooting the puck, hitting the reset button, and complaining about being muted/frozen.

Guys DevilsNinja did his best for this game and because of some un-cooperation from SOME members, he had to call it off. I will say this once and ONCE only. I WONT TAKE ANY CRAP AT THE OLYMPICS. Its all about fun, thats why i aint taking crap at the olympics all ts will be muted fullstop. Any ts who do not want to play will get to run around, but if they are intereferring i will have an admin slay them WITHOUT a respawn.

I'd like to personally thank DevilsNinja for being creative and trying to hold and event, He did a great job oragnising this ALL ALONE and youre efforts dont go un-appreciated.

By the way, My team(team2) One our game and team 3 and 4 ended up in a draw? so we win? haha

At what point did I object to the creativity?? NONE.

What I objected to, was that the way you had explained it, Elite, is that basically for the designated time, people on a public server will play the way you want to, without rebelling, but if they do rebel, it wont matter anyway because CT's will have infinite health.. So basically, it's your way, or no way.


As for my not saying anything about the first one, maybe it was because I've been otherwise occupied with my apparent non existant life, I just happened to catch onto this conversation today, and the way things were explained regarding the Olympics, is what I have the issue with, and would have raised the same issues, if I had actually been aware of it at the time, and not flat out trying to keep my own life in order.

It's not my fault that you come across as DEMANDING the admin intervention rather than requesting it.

I didnt demand it, i came to beleive it's fine. Im trying to oragnise an event for creativity and for the WHOLE server, I could easily go to the council and request that the olympics become invite only to the people that signed up.. But no the olympics is to help inspire creativity and let EVERYONE have fun. And no its not the way I WANT TO PLAY IT, i played a short version of the olympics when i was wardening once, it turned out fantastic. Everyone wanted it to be held again, the first one was a succses so they wanted a second one. No this is not what I WANT this is what the majority of people from JB WANT.

The forums are for the community to provide constructive discussion about anything sever related.
One side of the argument is that the Olympics should occur and a vast majority of members, including Cass, are in favour of letting it happen.
The other side is that rules are rules, and one person is not allowed to have a 1-hour creative event which is still open to the public.
I dont mind if you disagree with me, nor should you mind if I disagree with you.
I understand who is ranked where and I am simply voicing my own opinion on the matter.

When you first started in servers and on forums, my lack of activity has probably been due to me dealing with shit. I have NEVER had a problem with you or your wanting to get creativity into JB. If you ask around, I been banging my head on that brick wall for close to a year now. But as I've said, I've had shit going on, so I haven't been around as much to be able to help out as much as I used to.

When we both cool off abit, I'm more than happy to discuss some things with you privately, if you want a chance to lay things out on the table, that's your chance, up to you to accept it when I make the offer. =)
