Rebelling (Should skin be removed)

Hi Guys

Im just offering a suggestion. Would it be fair to remove the red skin from rebels in the game? And maybe to not have it show up on the chat that "DevilsNinja is now a rebel".

Would it make it more fun to be harder to identify a rebel? I mean after all, in a REAL jail, rebels dont get spray-painted red, lol.

this is good and bad the good is it would lead to a new way and maby more exciting however there then would be the writting the cornor saying u knifed so and so and then it would also lead to a large amount of people complainging that i actualy wasnt a rebel and lots moer argueing

cts would actually have to see who rebels and would be a lot harder for them. with the high number of terrorist it would be really hard for them to keep order, and will also cause more arguing etc.

i think ct have a hard enough job as it is. skins are helpfull becuase you cant see names in a stack of t's

I think it should be changed as it would be more exciting and more stealthy for rebels.

I do admit it makes things alot easier as it is at the moment. I just wanted to know peoples views on it. An admin might be able to tell me this, is it a slayable offence to use !models when your a rebel? I can think of a few times where i have been hit, remembered the name, and killed them at the next available opportunity, but they have always changed there skin again by then.

no it's not slayable to use the models option to take the red off you when you rebel. It's up to the CT's to be paying attention to whats going on.

That being said, I don't agree with removing the red when a person rebels, this is mainly because everyone knows by now how to remove it, if you want it gone, remove it yourself, simple =P

Changing it like this can be smart, I agree with what Becca has said, however, is it possible to remove the notification that says "**** is now a rebel" ? Still keep the red paint on the person, but remove it from the chat. But still it is viewable using the command to show who's rebelling and who's not :P

I agree the skin should be removed, so many players get killed for the wrong reasons because of it, like just a few rounds ago elite pwnage was killed for being a rebel when just knifed a CT once for baiting. =/

haha yeah frag. I personally dont think this should be removed. I mean there is still !checkplayers. It has its perks: EX. i run off and grab a gun and detour and delay they only tell who i am by my skin (the white Member skin) so i change my models so they have no idea who i am or who the rebeller is.

nah i reckon leave it, as becca pointed out everybody knows how to rid themselves of the red skin with little hassle so why fix it server side when you can fix it client side

Rebelling is easy enough as it is... Removing it will lead to even more accidental freekilling which isnt really fair on the CT's
If you are having trouble with rebelling please get into contact with any one of your numerous local neighbourhood pro rebels.

maybe instead of removing it, we get the colour changed so that when there is a rebel, people in the skins that are mainly red, won't get shot by 'accident'

That happened to me once, I go killed because admin skin is red. Someone commented "he's an admin, not a rebel, idiot" I lol'd. Anyway what colour were you thinking becca? I personally think they should turn purple is that just me?

Purple sounds nice hahaha, but it doesn't really signify rebelling :P
