player name origins

whilst some players names are relatively easy to see the reason's or perhaps origins for them, others are not. mine for example comes from a song by my favourite band "Bon Jovi" yea showing my age now. In a verse from the song "These Days" i got my name :

and hence the birth of jimmyshoes the cs:s playername was born.
I'm sure there is some great/interesting/funny even sad reasons for peoples playernames.

Agent Orange- Was watching a documentary on WW2 and Agent Orange was a tear gas used by the Americans
I Own A Horse.- While on JB someone (Bento Guy I think) said "Go onto Omegle and say I Own A Horse. and see what happens."

My 2 names.

Falam means "speak" or "speaking" in portugese.. and "Ima" basically means "I am"

and when you put the 2 together it is "I am Speaking"

plus it sounds boss as..

mines pretty easy i think, couldnt think of a name all those years ago so i was watching scrubs and their stuffed dog is named Rowdy. so i used that and it has since become my online identity so i dare not change it plus now it also means rowdy as in agro and wild! haha

On a diffrent clans JB server i was constantly rebelling and taking out the entire CT team someone said " Jesus christ dude, your a juggernaut " and then the juggernaut was born (my previous name was Mr.Waffles....thats for another day though)

Bento Guy - Originated from Fried Rice Guy (Krezza) but I did Bento cuz I like Bento more than Fried Rice.


Bento - Japanese take out meal used mainly for lunch. It has rice, egg, fish and some vegies. That's a Bento Box for ya!

Purplicous - that song furglicious inspired me and it fit so well with the word purple so i enjoyed it (note: i was like 8?)

The Mr. came from an old surf clan, i used to be pro surfer and clan was the Mr. clan.

Cassonberry - My friend's mum kept mis-pronouncing my name (Cayson) and would say Casson. Then Man Eating Crayon decided to add berry onto the end of everyone's name for a week or so. So I was Cassonberry from that, and I loved it, it sounded cool, and its stuck since

Carni = was my original name... And that stemmed from year 8 when the kids at school called me Carni for my ridiculously small hands and feet :P (to this day I still haven't met someone with smaller hands then myself apart from kids aged 9 and under lol :P

I love Pythons and was hoping there was a word for a female python (as far as i know there isn't )... so i just added 'ess' on the end (to denote femininity).
I then found out that "Pythoness" is in Greek mythology a witch, who posses soothsayer powers, and is normally represented with snakes...So that sweetened the deal

I've got a few ingame names so here we go:

My css name for a few years was
the artful dodger : I remember every sunday morning there for a while was show on TV years ago call "Escape of the Artful Dodger" so I thought that names sounded cool and because when I used to play on internode office and a couple other servers years ago I got told all the time that I was good dodging bullets.

the other name I used a fair bit on the office dm server is "Blue Angels" :
some people seemed to think that it was a reference to some weird thing like something to do with "angels" and the colour "blue" or something which is not true.
The name "blue angels" is the name of the US Navys aviation FA-18 Flight demonstration squadron which if you haven't heard of them you should check them out on Youtube. They are amazing some of the stunts they do etc...

The main name I use now is "super hornet" which is the name of the RAAF new main strike fighter jet the Boeing FA-18 Super hornet also nicknamed the rhino (FA means fighter attack) which is my favourite fighter jet in the world.
