Dust 2 needs an event

When all the DM servers were shitting the bed a few months ago with lag spikes etc. it completely wiped out the population of Dust 2 DM.
Now I'm not a Dusty, the excessive AWP use on that server and CT spawn camping always drove me mad.

However, it's disappointing to see that no one ever returned to Dust 2 DM considering that the server used to hold a healthy player count of 15+ whenever I seen it in the server list before the server issues.
No Dust 2 admins are ever there to lure players in either which certainly isn't helping.

Someone should come up with an event to try and revitalise the server otherwise what's the point of having it there?

While i do not play on Dust i do agree its sad to see a once popular server always sitting there idle.
Some events or a big shakeup of some sort to bring players back and encourage new players would be great for DtK.
