    Post rtv system for Nilla

    Can we please get a look at the RTV system for Nilla?

    When there is a full server, the initial vote kicks in, however it always comes up with 'no majority met' and a second vote is called.

    For the second vote, unless a certain percentage of people actually vote for the same map (which normally isn't the case on a full server), it says something on the lines of 'not enough people voted, rtv has failed'.

    Can we just have a system for the most voted map wins? And tie breaker vote if necessary?


    Good example of this happening was yesterday on Assault at 20:12pm

    Agreed.

    Such a strict majority rule should not apply in the case where no one wants to play the current map.

    Still gonna vote assault/compound when they're up though.

    In general I kinda like the two phase map voting, but it can definitely get annoying when not enough people vote and we're stuck suffering on a map nobody wants.

    It could definitely work to just apply the majority rule strictly to those who have voted, rather than weighing the percentage of votes against the current player count. Say for example, if 60% is needed to pass a vote but only 40% actually care enough to vote, just calculate based on the tallied votes and don't weigh it against the current player count.

    Also, a stray thought in an event that "noone wants to play these maps." and noone has nominated anything people would want to vote on. Personally, I think it would be kinda cool to have a vote to shuffle. Something to ask the server to repick new maps for people to vote on until the majority are satisfied
