DtK CSS Server Olympics 2020 - Schedule/Standings

Dear DtK Community,

This will be held on Sunday 4th October beginning at 6pm AEDT

This will be a friendly competition to decide which server is best as far as DtK CSS Servers and it's various modes are concerned.

Server #3 Office DM , Server #4 Gungame , Server #5 Dust2 DM and Server #9 Nilla/Rotation will be competing in this competition, each team will have 10 players. [This number might be modified if signup numbers are low]

Each server team will play 1 match each against the other 3 server teams on their own server. E.g Dust2 vs Office , Dust2 vs Gungame , Dust2 vs Nilla - will be played on the Dust2 server with it's current settings. The same will be done for each server.

The winner of each match will be given points and the team with the most points after all 12 matches have been played will be declared the winner.


Entry is open to all server players (DtK members and non-DtK members) HOWEVER you must have a minimum of 5 hours played on the server you are signing up for. An admin from each server will manage the team and a Captain (can be a non-admin / admin) will be leading the teams ingame.



All 4 servers will be locked on this day and opened to the public once the 3 matches for that server have been played.

Well done to almost everyone for making it through to the end, too. I could barely keep my eyes in focus by round six. We're not all as young as we like to think we are!!

Congratulations to Nilla for the victory, to all the other servers, and to my office boys who fought through the end despite all odds considering the people we were up against and the mountain we had to climb, i will always be proud of office <3

Also wanted to apologise for having work commitments to which resulted in me having to leave halfway, im sure if i were able to stick around the results wouldn't be the same

And so anywho, this was me when i came around to check the results on my break at work and seeing we came last despite all the trash talk i made and all the gifs i created..

From a feedback perspective, I would participate in a future competition if we had a shorter event format:



Nilla: 5 rounds, swap sides, 5 more rounds (per match)
Dust2: first to 40 (not 110)
Office: first to 40 (not 80)
GG: Always nice and quick, I think the format and the map worked well.

Good suggestions cupcake, I also think that it would've been better if whichever team's server it isn't should get to choose what team. For example if it is Nilla vs Gungame on the nilla server, gungame gets to choose which team (ct or t)

Enjoyed the majority of last nights excitement. It went on a tad long, I was a little fatigued by the end. I think I will uninstall css for awhile as I've played enough for a year. Office might have been squashed, but we were squashed together, thanks for the comradery. Three cheers for our captain and mighty server rep, Cupcake and Walker!

Thanks for putting together the comp, DTK and Krez for subbing in the last round. I thought I had taken screenshots at the end of each game but looks like I haven't, whoops.

Congrats to Nilla on your victory! I am lucky to have gotten the 2 (?) kills I got that round hahaha. Well done to Dust and GG on their plays as well.
