The DtK plugin for TTT that allows people to see names is broken, it allows you to see names through the smoke, even if someone is on the complete opposite side. So basically if you stare at someone through the smoke for long enough you can see their name which is (from my experience) always accurate.
Whilst this is true, you can see names through the smoke, i don't believe it is really a game breaking issue.
You can't call a kos on somebody for anything they do in/behind the smoke as you cannot see it and you can only shoot into it if they are shooting at you.
I guess it can give a player an advantage of that they might know who the traitor is, I dont think that this is worth the time to fix it as it doesn't provide enough of an advantage for people.
There might be the potential for a traitor who has been kos'd to be hiding in the smoke however, and in such a scenario if the innocent didn't see him and therefore cant shoot, if they were to see the name through the smoke they might start blasting as they caught the name. Probably wont happen, however just a possibility.
Thats the exact reason there is a rule in place that disallows shooting through smokes as beavr said...
