Introduction / Hanilein

Hello everybody,


Some quick words about me - I play CS for a long time, but not very frequently. Which means, I consider myself to be an (eternal) apprentice.
I live in Christchurch, NZ, since 2013, but (as you can hear from my accent), I am German - so don't expect any humor - and that's as far as it gets .


My background: Electronics, software, R&D, photography (a bit).



So where does the name Hanilein come from? Well, when I was much younger and started to frequently play games (LAN-Parties) with my mates, I needed a name. And I was a huge fan of Han Solo - as everybody at that time, so that name was never free to chose.

But there is a pretty hilarious German comedian with the stage name Hanilein, and in German that is also a belittlement like 'little Han' - so for my mates I was the little Han - and the name stuck. There you go.
