Personally I like asking players to pm me a small YouTube clip of the event as it’s the easiest way for us admins. However, if you’re unable to do that then you can either add the tick number or time of the incident. I don’t think it really matters tbh as long as you give us clear details.
Ps: it’s best to pm an admin about this to prevent thread spam etc.. you can contact me next time if u want me to review demos, I’ll be happy to assist
cant really do the utube option, 2 core macbook pro aint for screen recording and cs'ing at the same time. i just wanted to know if there was a prefered way between tick number or irl time
tick or in game match time is preferred,
IRL time does nothing at all to help us?
How do i know the match time? Every round has a new timer?
irl time, date and map to find the demo
tick/timeframe of the demo to look at what needs to be looked into.
don't worry about youtube or any other sites/apps. Generally the demoui in counter strike is the best thing for admins to be using when dealing with incidents on servers as people viewing demos can spectate/freelook, get multiple perspectives, etc.
To find tick/timeframe, type in demoui in console when viewing a demo. It'll display ticks and timeframe of the demo.
