    Alright you lot give me some game suggestions

    I'm looking for some good single player games which are a bit different to the usual staring down a gunsight/shoot 'em up or strategy stuff. I'm also a notorious tightarse and don't want to pay much money because my wife hoards it all and makes screeching noises when I open my wallet. What have you got for me, DTK?


    For anyone else looking for fun games I can suggest:


    The Stanley Parable
    To The Moon

    Dr. Langeskov, The Tiger, and the Terribly Cursed Emerald: A Whirlwind Heist (which is about 20 minutes long and is both great and free)


    Also, don't play Marie's Room because it's rubbish.

    Stanley parable is damn amazing. Euro truck simulator is a nice boring time waster. Mad Max seems alright. Shower With ur dad simulator is best game ever created. Rainbow 6 siege is great fr. FORTNITE BECAUSE ITS FREE AND THE COMMUNITY IS TERRIBLE BUT ITS STILL FREE

    Yes, Rube you are 100% correct with To the Moon. For those who don't know, the wonderful game has a sequel called Finding Paradise; both very heartfelt.
    The Walking Dead games are amazingly sincere, too. These can be pricey so wait for a sale. If you want a laugh I recommend the Secret of Monkey Island. For some strategy, there's no going past some Plague Inc. . For something completely different, try Barry Has a Secret.

However G2A always has cheap games, although the reason they are so cheap is because they are stolen codes so it doesn't support the developer at all, up to you if you want to use it. You can use the website https://isthereanydeal.com/ to find the cheapest prices, although I can't say if all those websites are legit.

    Some good singleplayer games I would check out are;
    Borderlands 2 (Shooting)
    Witcher 3 (Sword and magic)
    Fallout: New Vegas (Shooting)
    Bioshock (Shooting)
    Any Civilization game

    As suggested by the others, The Witcher 3/Mirrors Edge/Borderlands games are what I would recommend.

    It all depends on your hardware quality though. Not too many quality single player games that run on Potatoes nowadays.
