Rules that should probably be added to the rules thread

So these two rules seem to differ depending on who is online and i'd like some clarification on them.

1. Can you shoot back at someone who is shooting you through a wall? Some admins say you can, whereas some say you cant. It would be good to have this set in stone.

2. Is shooting at someone through a smoke kos-able? I know its against the rules to shoot through a smoke as an inno, but can you kos someone for doing it?

1. Yes you can if they are shooting at you. If not then you cant really spam shots into the t room.

2. No. You have to see what they are shooting at.

1. U can only fire back through a wall if it's a T room as only traitors are in there.

You can't fire back through walls as innocents could be on the other side

Even though everythings already been covered I suppose a TTT Admin should really confirm it, to stop any confusion.

You cannot shoot players through walls, the only time there is a exception to this rule is when it comes to Traitor rooms as Bob has mentioned, in the case of Traitor rooms, you can only fire back when being shot at from them. If you are seen to be shooting back at players through walls you will be punished for RDM, as you are unable to see who is shooting at you and therefore is based off location.

It isn't against server rules to shoot as long as it isn't at or in the general direction of another player, if a player is simply shooting through smoke but not at anyone you cannot KOS on that. The other thing is you aren't actually able to see who is shooting at you through smoke and any KOS's would once again be based off location.

It is different because anyone in a traitor room is proven to be a traitor, so there is no chance of killing an innocent, as log as you are being shot at from the traitor room you can fire back into it.
