Details:
On Friday the 20/04 at 7:30pm Sauron will launch a full scale assault on middle earth. With the power to resurrect the dead, the dark lord will begin his assault in the Mines of Moria. After escaping the horde, we will seek refuge in the mountain keep of Helms Deep. Lastly we will take the fight to sauron and launch an invasion to his fortress on Mount Doom. Each map will be played for a duration of 30 minutes. On Saturday the 21/04, Sauron will have set his sights on the capital of Gondor. We must protect the White City of Minas Tirith from his endless ranks of undead, we are required to defend the city for a minimum duration of 1 hour

Another community did a LOTR event AFTER yours!!!! Hmmmmm

Having an event where you play maps of a similar theme must surely be an original idea and in no instance can anyone else do a similiar event.

That's the point. The events are to have a bit of fun on the server outside the normal play.
It's good to see that the CS:GO communities can share and use ideas between them.

Other communities have probably had the same before the event I ran, and have continued to after.
The event always proves popular, so I don't see why DtK hosting it after another community is an issue?
