    Wii Fit Plus

    Hey guys,

I own a wii and i have a large collection of games etc. University is starting again next semester and I'm getting a university student access membership, which is basically unlimited gym and swim. I used to be a hardcore athlete but i've recently quit, and am still quite thin because of my metabolism.

Now, why am I telling you guys this? I'm thinking of getting a wii fit plus for me and the gf, because i need to do exercise of some form, and i reckon it would be a pretty cool way to do so. Having a high metabolism I eat whatever I want and don't put any weight on, so I'm mainly interested in the muscle/flexibility/core part of the wii-fit.

The question is: Will purchasing a Wii-fit be worth it for the results it can provide?

Wii-Fit sucks, I wouldn't get it. My family had it for a month than we sold it on eBay.

Wii Fit can be fun, but overall it sucks.

With what your aiming for, you'd be better off getting free weights and a bench. What you do in a day with those would be a month on the wii.
Tone = low weights, more reps per set
Bulk = Large weights, less reps per set
Never do the same routine the following day, so do arms, shoulders and pecks one day, then abs and legs the next.
Start with low sets, and heaps of reps with a good break in-between to avoid any injury or strain, then every 2nd day bring the ratio up. That way also helps gets you toned before you bulk, which makes you bulge.

I too have one of those metabolisms, and i can assure you the wii does 3/5ths of stuff all for you.
Its taken me 12 months to put on 10kg, thats eating lots of rice and hotdogs, steaks, massive amounts of chicken etc.

I'm sure alot of people may disagree with this, but its just advice Obviously do what feels right for you.
