The following is the format for the DtK CS:GO InterRank Championship 2017:

Match schedule as follows:

Round 1:
Match 1 - Friday September 8th 7pm EST: Neophyte vs Senior Admin
Match 2 - Saturday September 9th 7pm EST: Junior Admin vs Member
Match 3 - Sunday September 10th 7pm EST: Jedi vs Veteran

Round 2:
Match 4 - Friday September 15th 7pm EST: Member vs Jedi
Match 5 - Saturday September 16th 7pm EST: Veteran vs Neophyte
Match 6 - Sunday September 17th 7pm EST: Senior Admin vs Junior Admin

Round 3:
Match 7 - Friday September 22nd 7pm EST: Veteran vs Member
Match 8 - Saturday September 23rd 7pm EST: Jedi vs Senior Admin
Match 9 - Sunday September 24th 7pm EST: Neophyte vs Junior Admin

Round 4:
Match 10 - Friday September 29th 7pm EST: Junior Admin vs Jedi
Match 11 - Saturday September 30th 7pm EST: Senior Admin vs Veteran
Match 12 - Sunday October 1st 7pm EST: Member vs Neophyte

Round 5:
Match 13 - Friday October 6th 7pm EST: Veteran vs Junior Admin
Match 14 - Saturday October 7th 7pm EST: Neophyte vs Jedi
Match 15 - Sunday October 8th 7pm EST: Member vs Senior Admin




After the 5 rounds, the top 2 teams in the standings will battle it out in the finals. The format for finals will be Bo3, each team will choose a map each and the 3rd will be a neutral map.

Match Sign Up threads:

To help set-up matches, there will be sign up threads for each match just like we have done in previous matches, these will go up 1 week before each match is scheduled to take place. You will be able to change the match dates in these threads via discussion with the other team.

Captains have been selected based on war experience , your willingness to captain and availability. These are not set in stone however for certain ranks i.e non-admin ranks. If you feel a change is needed, send me or staff a PM.

While some teams did have enough players for two teams, as mentioned in the sign up thread, we have seen that players often sign up but are not present for the actual matches. 10 players sign up and only 3-4 are around for matches. So having more than enough players is a good way to ensure your rank plays all it's matches. However if your rank has enough players for two teams and you are certain that all players will be available for all matches as two teams as well as a captain each to look after it, we can look into splitting the single team into two. If you want to do this, you need to reply with the captains and the split team listing by this Friday 1st September

I'm assuming its based off availability. If a player can only make 1 game then they will get first preference for that game. It may also be dependent on commitment and who shows up for training sessions as they will perform better as a team.
