    Traitor Room Rules and Clarification

    Hey All, as posted in the TTT Updates/Change Logs, some maps on TTT now have Traitor rooms and Detective Rooms, with the addition of these new rooms comes a new set of rules. Due to some confusion in game the TTT Admin Team has decided a separate thread is needed to clarify some things.

    Currently there are 2 maps on TTT with Traitor rooms and Traitor testers and only 1 with a Detective room. Each Traitor Tester works differently and there are specific rules for them.

    ttt_hoodrat has a Traitor room and a Traitor tester.

    Traitor Tester

    How the Traitor Tester works on Hoodrat when each of the following combinations is inside:

    Innocent and Innocent the beam will turn green (meaning both are proven/Innocent)
    Traitor and Traitor the beam will turn red (Meaning at least 1 is Traitor)
    Detective and Traitor the beam will turn red (non Detective is Traitor)
    Detective and Innocent the beam turns Green (Non Detective is innocent)
    Innocent and Traitor the beam will turn red (At least 1 is the Traitor)

    (you cannot kill based off traitor tester unless 100% proven that they are Traitor, read rules below for more details)

    ttt_innocentmotel_fixv1 has a Traitor room, Traitor tester and Detective room.

    There is a diagram on Innocent motel showing you how the Traitor tester works.

    Traitor and Traitor inside box turns green (neither are proven)

    With this Traitor tester it is best to use a combination of players in order to suss out who could be Traitor.

    5. Do not spray into Traitor rooms. You many only Shoot into T-Rooms when you see a player in one or when you are being shot at from within a T-Room and need to defend yourself. (this is in regards to T-Rooms ONLY) If you are found to be spraying into or at a T-Room for any other reason you will be punished.
    so if we are being shot at from a wall in innocent motel, we can shoot back or not?

    Only the walls of the traitor room no other rooms or walls. Thus if you dont know the wall is connected to the t room dont shoot. As the rule states t rooms only.

    thanks for clearing that up. in the other rule clarification thread I read, it said we couldnt shoot into the Traitor rooms at all.

    I have a question about the Innocent motel traitor tester.

    If an innocent and a traitor get into the traitor tester, can the innocent inside call a kos on the traitor inside?

    Well obviously, however you can't go off of what anyone says, you have to see the beam or the light (whatever it is) first. I would stick to that unless someone else says you can go off of what other people say.

    Traitors can camp, however they cannot delay. I believe the detective room is unnecessary on innocent motel as detectives can't camp and inno's will (at some point) break rules and camp in there. there is also a door to the hallway where innos/traitor can get stuck if a detective is leaving the detective room (Nazza xd).

    Regarding the Traitor Tester you cannot tell the people to call KOS on the other person on inside the tester. Traitors lie all the time and if a T tells someone to do this its just going to cause issues. If 2 people enter it and it pops up red you can lie and say its green. You are then allowed to taser one of the people and call KOS on the other person if the person tasered is innocent. Id only suggest doing this if you know the outcomes of the traitor tester.

    You cannot just shoot into the T-Room cause someones in there because you can wallbang other people out the other side in some parts. You are also KOSing off location as you arent acting in self defense as stated above. If you are getting shot from this aera its acting in self defence and is perfectly fine.

    If people are just shooting into them then just send a demo to me or any other TTT Admin to have this delt with. Just because admins arent on doesnt mean we cant punish people via a demo that gives sufficient proof.

    relating to the map ttt_innocentmotel_fixv1, is there anyway we can remove the the vending machines? they are used to corrupt user's cmd and block traitor room windows which are very annoying. I know some people would argue that this isn't stated in the rules thus its alright, I'm not saying its against the rules, I'm saying its constantly annoying for both Teams.

    This is all IMO, your opinions?

    I guess it's a good innocent tactic, but using them to corrupt users cmd is unfair.

    Traitor and Detective Room Rules:

    Traitor rooms are only able to be opened by Traitors.

    1. Entering a Traitor room is a Traitorous act.

    Note: Therefore anyone seen to be entering a Traitor room is able to be KOS'd and killed on sight.

    2. Innocents and Detectives are not to enter Traitor rooms. If you are found to be entering a Traitor room as an Innocent or Detective you will be punished for T-bating.

    3. Do not enter Detective rooms unless you are a Detective. Anyone found to be entering a Detective room that is not a Detective will be considered to be exploiting the map and punished as so.

    Note: Detectives found to be purposely letting other players into the Detective room will also be punished. (Detectives should not be camping in any area including Detective rooms)

    4. Do not camp Traitor rooms as an Innocent or Detective. Camping outside Traitor rooms/Traitor room doors is a punishable offence.

    5. Do not spray into Traitor rooms. You many only Shoot into T-Rooms when you see a player in one or when you are being shot at from within a T-Room and need to defend yourself. (this is in regards to T-Rooms ONLY) If you are found to be spraying into or at a T-Room for any other reason you will be punished.

    6. You cannot kill based off Traitor testers unless 100% proven the player is a Traitor. (eg. Traitor and Detective in Traitor tester, beam will go red the only player that can be a Traitor is the non Detective.) Anyone found to be killing without enough evidence will be considered to be RDMing and punished as so.

    Innocent and traitor - if the person who is in the tester with a traitor is a innocent, can he call kos? Because really, if they know its red, the innocent knows its him?

    The rule about entering the t room, if u see a traitor walk in there, you can't follow him and kill him?

    traitors cant camp? Traitors must be actively hunting innocent.
