Banning FR on deathrun

I think that DR really needs to ban free runs. The fact that people just instantly go "Fr for awp or bhoP" is just stupid and need to stop it really takes the fun out of the gamemode

if the admins think that this is an issue or it is disturbing the gameplay, they will do something about it. even if the 2 free run rule is enforced, players will find a way around it e.g. only pressing 1 trap so its not considered a freerun. this will then make more unnecessary arguments on whether this is allowed or not. I think death run is fine as it is, anything major will consequence in an uprising among players, as has been demonstrated in the past.

Thank you for your response tay, that is a good argument but wouldn't it be better to just not allow fr's at all it would avoid the confusion of who has done one or two and overall will improve the quality of the gameplay

that is quite off topic. see this thread has already caused unwanted arguments. now how about we stick to the proposal at hand. personally, if everyone abided by the rules then there would be no need for admins. we have admins because a few people try and be "cool" by not following the rules. if the admins thought that people doing 2 freeruns in a row is a huge problem in an online gaming community, then the rule would have been added. I think further discussion of shanes opinion isn't needed. you have already made your statement Shane, no need to b*tch along because not everyone is gonna agree.

Tay, thank you very much for your post, however as stated before the point of deathrun is to complete the map by surviving the traps. fr's completely destroy the purpose of this gamemode. furthermore the rule against 2 fr's in a row is already in place. I think you misunderstand this post.
