TTT in 2017

Hi guys and girls,

So i was wanting to know what the community would like to see from DtK TTT this year. If it wasnt for you guys (The Community) TTT wouldnt be where it is today. So when i was appointed SA my goal was the get the community more involved in the things we do on the server eg. Events, Plugin Features.

So im making this to get your guys ideas. Just remember people dont be scared to post anything cause every ideas helps

Could you put 67th way on the map rotation? It's the greatest TTT map of the thriving GMod era. Oh and maybe try work in a way to do custom rounds for events (if you need explanation hmu on steam).

Remove unwanted and unplayed maps, add new maps from gmod remakes (cos they always better), and make a plugin that stop DOLLS BEING PLAYED EVERY 10 MINUTES.

absurd, stupid and obscure ideas (some serious ones too): P.S. i forgot to log in when i typed an essays worth of ideas so it didnt save so ima write summarised forms of those lost words if i even remember them, kms
-innocents shop=sux cuz it only has 3 items, mayb add variety to them or sumtin idk
-traitors=rarely use items in shop, find ways to encourage them to use it
-detectives=add some sort of batman style image thing that tracks where people have been in a certain area
-add questionnaire rounds, 1 interrogator and the rest huddle togeda or sumtin, the interrogator asks stuff to someone of their choice and can kill based on their targets response
-no communicating rounds, cant hear others and see text chat
-handicaps for everyone such as pistols, knives or sumtin only (though t's should probably get extra credits cuz they lack numbers)

-Get rid of some of the useless items in the traitor shop (or make them useful) such as making it so the iceknife disables people from talking on mic or typing, also making it so you can kill them straight away
-I like the idea of pistol rounds
-Wasn't on when they did the event but doing another !rtd event would be awesome
-I dont know if its even possible but the STUPID smoke glitches on Dolls and Innocent Motel
-Not a huge concern but having to use !specmenu to change spec gets pretty annoying

And most importantly, a ban on ham

Personally, I think the !ttt rules might need a little tweaking, maybe add a section where it describes what the items in the shop do. I agree maybe an upgrade with the ice knife, you could even switch it with a throwing knife plugin, that'd be fun to use as a traitor. But the admins are doing a great job keep up the good work!

Firstly, thanks for asking our opinion.
Tapch0w mentioned that people rarely use some items in the shop. I think some modifications could be made to the prices of certain items to encourage the usage, and also their position in the menu. When one hit knife was on page 1 it got used often. Since it got moved to page 2/3? its more of a rarity.
I think the Jihad needs a small buff. This can be done with any of the following; shorter cooldown on arm, that BEEP BEEP sound when armed is removed, or the activation delay (LALALALLA) made shorter (90% of the time people use this it fails because of this last one). This can even be done by changing the audio clip to be shorter, not actually changing the delay of it.
Ham mentioned 67th way, which is a great map, but its quite large with lots of places to hide. This means when there are 2-3 people left alive hiding, the round will drag on for ages. There is a version called ttt_67thway_v7_csgo_small (pretty sure this is it). It's the main part of the map without the tunnel through to the other side. I think if you're looking to add 67th, this would be worth looking at.

Any possibility of !report linking to the sourcebans page? Would be a lot easier to handle than just 1 admin getting 90% of the reports via steam message.

Also, something that could be possible; on canyon when someone enters the code, have it print in logs so after the round everyone can see who entered it. It's a good map apart from that one thing.
