New Server Suggetions

So recently I have been spending a lot of time on a combat surf server. then I thought, why not introduce more game modes to DTK? I am looking for ideas. so far I think we should add:

• combat surf
• scouts and knives
• hide and seek (idk how it would work, maybe prop hunt)

I AM OPEN FOR IDEAS

Although I would be 100% onboard with the addition of a combat surf server, and would be willing to dedicate my spare time to it to ensure its success, it has been made clear in the past that we would be unable to keep up with other community servers with this game mode. This is unless I am mistaken or the circumstances have changed.

I don't have an opinion on the other server suggestions.

i would definately support a dtk combat surf server aswell, although the issue with that is matrix and kzg all have !ws and !knife. which will probably make people turn more towards them than us

So the second lot of suggestions are on the mulitmode server being scouts and H&S

New servers are very hard to keep populated unless you have multiple people who will keep jumping on and inviting, even when there is 0 people on.

I am personally trying hard to get MVP to be a thing in CS:GO. Proving difficult though lol.

I too would totally help with setting this up (might easily get others too) But at the end of the day its all up to Squall and the numbers that the server can attract.

I'd love to have combat surf, but as everyone said, I can't see it taking off when there are so many others like kzg, invex, Melbourne surf, etc.
Then again if it was added I'd love to help out with it.

Personally, I really enjoy combat surf and it's always been one of my favourite gamemodes because it was the first I played on CS:GO ever. I highly agree with what is said above about how tough it is to get these servers populated to compete with opposing servers, because I've been mod on a few in the past and I've seen how they come and go.

It would be tough, but I dont think we should just ignore the idea. With the right choice of plugins it would be possible to compete in my opinion.

Given that being said, the greatest issue would be competing with opposition who have !ws/!knife/!gloves plugins, as these are a VERY big magnet which attract players.

The !ws and !knife plugins are illegal or banned by valve, due to the decrease in people buying skins in valve. These plugins ruin gabes precious money, personally we shouldn't have !ws plugins even though they attract a huge amount of players.

Try talking with Krezand (the D2 FFA admin) about (if it's not already a thing) having those options made available on the FFA server.
