Thread: TTT Rules Update?

    TTT Rules Update?

    There's been a bit of confusion and discussion in-game over the rules lately. I feel like a simple update/addition to them would be beneficial.


    Detectives:
    Don't T bait or shoot near people unnecessarily. As a detective you cannot be KOSed, but it causes confusion and leads to accidental RDM.


    Map Specific Rules:
    Desperados - When on the rocks, players must be always be visible from a point on the ground. Players are not allowed behind the top corner sign.
    Dolls - Do not throw Smokes/Flashes in the doll house, you can be banned.
    Rooftops - Do not throw Smokes/Flashes on the helipad, you can be banned.

    Just adding one more to the Map Specific Rules. On Innocent Motel don't do the error glitch or throw Smokes/Flashes in that one hallway.

    I remember one of the Admins (a mapper) saying he was going to fix that hallway, so it's possible we may not need to add that.

    Thanks Annie, another thing to add at the bottom, something along the lines of,

    Admins must always be listened to/Admins rules must always be followed

    and

    These rules aren't absolute, Admins have the right to give punishments as they see fit.

    I never finished the map specific rules list. Then a whole bunch of maps were added or removed so I could never be bothered to finish it. I can forward the document to someone if they feel like finishing it.

    Personally I would like it if access to the rocks was removed entirely. All it does is allow players to hide and generally drags out rounds.

    I feel that if access to the rocks was removed the map would completely lose it's appeal. That could be viewed as a good or bad thing.

    That sounds like the best option, the rocks add a unique element to the map and a bit of diversity to the map pool. If it isn't too difficult, could invisible walls be put at the back of some rocks to stop people hiding out of sight from the ground?

    I like the risk it poses to get up there, but you can get some easy kills. High risk high reward. I would prefer to just remove the hidey places and make it more open.

    This would be good, visibility is really the only problem with the rocks atm so it would be good to maybe flatten them out so players below can actually get a shot on them.

    This would be an ideal solution.
    Block off with invisible walls what you can't see from the bottom. May take some trial and error, happy to help test if you need to know if your visible or not etc.

    Having access to get up there, I feel is quite important. It adds another layer to the map, just needs to be cleaned up
