Server #11 CS:GO Dust2 DM 128TICK is now ONLINE!!!

This is a 30 slot VOTE4MODE server. The server runs Dust2 exclusively however you can vote for the Mode via the end of map vote & rtv.

Current modes available:

Dust2 Normal DM
Dust2 Normal DM + Headshot Only
Dust2 Random Spawns
Dust2 Random Spawns + Headshot Only
Dust2 FFA
Dust2 FFA + Headshot Only

I wouldn't exactly say "sharp" yet as far as my aiming ability is concerned ... i'm improving yes, but i figure that in itself is well overdue. =P

After playing today with the server at 20+ players for an hour or so, its clear the csgo community wants one game mode: Dust2 FFA random spawns(HS on/off)

Yes indeed, they don't want much change than other DM servers already established. The only difference is that our rego is so much better

Most players on the server were confused about the round time limits and stuff, they prefer unlimited round where they can just shoot and practice their aim. Bit different than the CSS community

People need to keep in mind (and I say this with all due respect) is that CSGO is not CSS .. Not trying to be rude, but if we are putting up CSGO servers to just imitate CSS servers, there's not really much point in all the effort is there? If people want the same ole same ole, we still have the css servers for that... Again, not trying to be rude, but some of the sentiments I've heard voiced are pretty much basically "make it like css" which, as I said, would defeat the purpose of the new game in csgo..

CS:GO has 40x more active players than css. You said it yourself that CSGO and CSS are two different games, if I want to play on csgo, why would I want to go back to an older game with different hit registration, hitboxes and general weapon changes on a more than likely lower population server, css is dimmering down as a whole because csgo is able to do the community servers efficiently enough that people want to play on that game.. The recent DTK server conversions have shown how much more populated the csgo servers were than the css predecessors, the idea of converting or replicating a server to a newer, updated game with consistent new players is a good idea for the community and (in my opinion) is not worth shooting down.

I think you've misinterpreted the post. Becca was saying how the CSS community is different to the CSGO community and they want different things in there server.

While those Steam game stats comparisons are good for making a point, it always amazes me how CS 1.6 (my fav of the CS titles) - a 16 year old game,has a bigger playerbase than CS:Source. Almost double, if you consider today's peak. Newer isn't always better, but it's good to see we are at a point where we are able to maintain and cater for players of both games.
