Regular -Sniper Events

-Sniper event is back!

The point of this thread is to not only keep you up to date with the next scheduled event but to give players a chance to share their feedback, ideas and experiences while participating in the event to help us make it better and to suit YOU!

It's hard for us to please everyone so the more people leaving feedback or suggesting new ideas/changes will help us fine tune the event. Here are a few ideas as to what you might like to see changed or included.

Examples:

• Suggest specific days or times that suit you
• Holding the next event on a variation map of Dust2 that you enjoy playing on
• The event isn't long enough or it's too long
• You would like one to be held during a weekday/night

If any changes occur such as a different day/time or additional -Sniper events get added to the weekly roster they will also be added below.


Scheduled -Sniper events will currently not be running until further notice

Feel free to message any of the Dust2 admin if you have any other questions or issues in regards to the event.

The server will never be permanently removing/banning awps or dak daks.

Boosh i think this is a great idea and well i should be able to get on more to help out with these events. I had an idea that sometimes to change it up we could have pistols only, smg's only ect ect so then it is a bit of a variety in the events. We will speak more about such events when you and i are on next bro!

We are going to start rotating this event between Friday and Saturday nights on a weekly basis but reduce the length of the event and trial these changes. The event will now last 3 hours weekly rather than a lengthy 5 hours fortnightly. The next scheduled event will be this Friday night which means the following weekend will be Saturday night and so on. This way in case some people miss that one event in a fortnight or they can only participate on a specific night they only have to wait another week for the next. We hope that by doing this we will give even more players the chance to join in on the fun.

This needs to happen again. The sniper situation is at an all time high and more specifically the dak situation is absolutely ridiculous. Not only should we have more sniper events but something more needs to happen to combat this. Its great that the server is full and it's getting a good influx of players in but we're starting to see the regulars play less and less or just get bored having to resort to awp all the time. sigh.........

I believe Awps are easy to beat when using AK's on Dust2 but I think Dak-Dak's should be banned completely :/

But then the whingers will want the P90 bannes too, then it'll be the AK, then the M4A1. We'll be running around with just Yoghurt cannons if they take away the moron dak dak, sad to say.
