Friday Night Event

Time to mix things up a bit, whenever we have changed the map to one of the other variations of Dust2 people have loved them and even said they wished a certain map was the default map for the server.

For that reason, this Friday, Dust2 will be rotating 3 maps which are Indoors, Pro and Unlimited. If you're getting bored of the day in day out default Dust2 map and wanna try something new then come check it out. We might even throw the odd random spawn game in for those who enjoy that also.

Event Details

Friday 20th March and starts at 7pm (Brisbane time). The event can go right up until midnight if everyone is happy to play these maps otherwise we can easily end the event at any time and go back to the default Dust2.

Well the "Dust2" server will never be rotating anything other than "Dust2" but in your case I think that maybe you should possibly check out DTK's #16 default maps server which offer a great variety of maps and may suit your CSS gaming needs =]

That being said, we would still love to you see Friday night for some fun =]

I checked out server 16, and it is mostly bots that populate it, I never really see it full, or at least, decently populated, so server 16 isn't really much of an option and I got tired of all the dakdak and auto spam on dust maps that didn't seem to be a problem on Italy.

Well all I can suggest is keep an eye out for -Sniper events on the Dust2 server. I hope to set one up again really soon since it was very popular.

But getting back on topic of this Friday's event, you should come check the variation maps of Dust2 if you haven't already. They are really fun and 2 of the maps are extended versions and Dust2_Unlimted there is even a bomb site C so it's the biggest variation of the default map with plenty of different ways to go if one particular area is being "spammed" or awp/dak dak'd. In Unlimited there is a 3rd exit directly from CT spawn and also another quick side part just outside of CT spawn so it isn't as bad for the CT's getting spawn camped.

If anything it's a great change of pace for people who play the server a lot to experience something different from time to time.

Indoors, pro and unlimited are being rotated, you don't necessarily need extra nade power since the maps are so much different.

ye I should've worded it a bit better boosh, the other versions of dust are great and make it easy to get around awp camp. just a thought for normal dust2

I think if anyone wants to suggest new idea's to the server they can do so in other threads that have already been created which I will then respond to. But for now if we can just leave the rest of this thread to the upcoming event that would be good.
