Office Event Suggestions

hey guys was just thinkin..would it be impossible to set up some kind of competition weekly fortnightly or monthly. and have deagle only for a few rounds then awps only few rounds...probs not enough scouters around to have a scout only one but im willing to downgrade hahahaha whats you guys thought ideas????? cheers big ears

Yeah Dirty, that sounds pretty solid.

We could set something up no worries at all, we used to conduct organised events regularly but that’s going back to 2011-2012 from memory, like shotgun or pistol only events etc, for a few games on a Friday night. I wasn’t really into it all that much (because it’s restrictive) but it was still heaps fun with a packed server and other players really enjoyed the change.

I’m unsure if we’d be able to maintain a high frequency of organised Competition or Event nights however it’s a great idea and I’m keen to give it a try.

We’re looking at conducting another unlimited throwing knife event soon, this time with normal weapons still enabled so that players can still shoot if they want to whilst others are free to spam their throwing knives.

I also wanted to explore the possibility of giving players an extra HE nade or two for the same event or perhaps as a stand-alone event (it might not be possible, we’ll have to check).

Extend the kill limit to 500 kills
First to 500 kills gets a prize
Knife kills count as 3 kills
Nade kills count as 2 kills
You may want to increase the map time

-This event was ran successfully by past EMs
-The smaller maps allow for faster game pace and more intense action

I like the Enduro event idea with the extra kill counters for Knife & Nade, I’m def keen to set this up for a future event.

Gungame Maps is also another great idea ladbot.
I was thinking of running some scenario of map rotation event seeing as we currently have over 20 different maps at our disposal.

Pistols Only Challenge should be fun too.
I'll see if we can spin it with 2 times Knives & Nades.

Also Jetpackin will be banned from attending the event =P
Jokes Jetpackin come and bring some noise if you want.

Could be fun, I’m not sure I fully understand the “knife steal melee and throw” part.

Scouts & Knives could be fun, we can organise to run that for a game or two.

We should be able set up a zero sniper event for a few games no worries.

yes within the throwing knife config you can set either or both, to steal victims knifes by directly knifing or steal by a throw kill.

adding to that, as a suggestion would be cool if we have a color trail for the knifes instead of the current setup

Unfortunately we cant have throwing knives and nades laying around for players to pick up because they would use too many resources and attributes to server lag, the most we'll tolerate is the occasional smoke nade in spawn here and there.


Atm you can “steal” or acquire additional throwing knives by knifing someone normally. I think the most you can accrue is around 7 throwing knives max.


Coloured knife trails does sound pretty cool, I'll see if we get them.

I like the first 2 of hell's suggestions, but not the last 2 so much...we have a server for scout/knives and if we can have a sniper free event then a more popular event could be a p90 free event. If we work on one then surely we can do the other or neither. The snipers are still a fairly new addition back to the map.

I love the random spawn idea, and to add to it's awesomeness, what about random guns? no choice at all. Get what your given. Spawn where you spawn. Deal with it and kick some ass. (or get your ass kicked). Maybe this would be too tricky on all levels, but maybe even a random team swapping thing also.

Also not sure how to work it, but could we have like a capture the flag type match? Not sure if this has been done and is old or what, but ive never seen it if it is a thing. Would like to see if we could work one out though on one of the bigger maps. Office_unlimited maybe.
