Brisbane living... Whats Kedron like?

So I am from Sydney and am not very cluey about QLD.
Was thinking of getting into the property market in Kedron but wanted to know what the word is around town of what the suburb is actually like? Heaps of development going on a the moment but it doesnt mean much if its a suburb with no appeal.

Its not near a train line or anything- are the busses good? Or are they known for being heaps congested and a pain?
Whats the word about Westfield Chermside? And Prince Charles Hospital?
Want to hear the good and the bad... as long as you arent pulling my leg :P.

Chermside is fkn expensive, massive shopping centre, and viewed as one of the "nicer" places to live. However it does get super busy during peak hour, and you can be stuck in traffic for hours.
Kedron is much the same, closer to the city though.
Busses run all the time through those areas from what i gather (since i dont live there).

Lol at all the replies.... TopCat use reliable sources if you're going to invest... you're honestly better off talking to real estate agents. Kedron is alright I guess tho. Delta, I don't quite understand what you mean by saying Chermside is an expensive area... LOL what? It's full of bogans and the shopping centre traffic in Chermside is decreasing due to other centres such as Indooroopilly, Costco, etc. The main attraction to Chermside is the shopping centre... which is losing patrons...
