EB sells them but with markups, anybody know if they can be bought without the price difference? A $20 card for $20 that is, etc

my milkshake, your yard
I know Super Markets sell them, at least the one I work at :3 I don't know their price though.
EB games has always been expensive, but always has everything in Stock (most of the time), I would avoid it unless you had no other way.
Can't you use PayPal or some form of Online payment? Much cheaper / faster :3
are you sure there is a markup and its not just currency conversion? (im not sure myself) but im pretty sure all steam gift cards display value in USD and not AUD
Yeah I mean gift cards
Wondered whether it was a way to avoid the conversion rate. Paypals conversion rates are different to the banks and the general markets rate. It's ♥♥♥♥ed
And yeah I wanted to know if you could buy a $20USD gift card for $20AUD
You actually save money buying them from EB Games if we're talking conversion rates.
$1USD=$1.18AUD, they're $55 AUD at my Ebgames for a $50 card, at actual conversion rates you save a few dollars.
cant complain yo, its the same either way. But to answer your question, I don't think you can get a $20 card for $20 from local stores.

it used to be $23 back in like 2014 but last time i checked it was 26. Probably gone up by then. You save like 5 cents by using paypal but that all depends on the conversion rate so check before u buy
7/11 sell steam cards, I bought $40 worth today (2x$20) and I got home and the codes didn't work, I am wondering if the guy didn't scan them properly or something but I contacted steam support and just waiting for a response, The good this is that they sell the $20 codes for $20 at 7/11. Might do the same at Coles/Woolworths etc. So if it all works out I am buying my codes from these to save some $$
Hope this helped~
The conversion rate is so damn bad for AUD to USD, its like 20AU$ for 14US$ . Hopefully it goes back up someday.
YEP
your just better off adding 20 bucks on steam itself
I found JB Hifi sold them 1 for 1. I got a $20 card from them and it gave me $20USD. Thought it was a decent deal.
The rising BHOP star.
I know it sounds very unlikely, but it was only a month ago. Then again, I was in NZ at the time, could have been a christmas sale. Not sure about Australia.

i actually just picked up 2 50 usd cards for 60 aud ea, which is below the conversion at eb games.
Some stores dont update the prices regularily so you can get a sweet deal with cards if the rate is asshole
Ya boy palpatine
