Office Events.

Trying to come up with some ideas for some events for all you office folks out there. Stay tuned for event dates for some of the events we have thought about in the near future.

I would like to see both a little feedback after the events have taken place, and also any suggestions for events particularly from our office regs. Just remember, it's office and it needs to stay office, so please dont come up with different maps like italy or prodigy.

Depending on some of the ideas you guys come up with, we might even throw together a mix of ideas into 1 event.

The current Office event in the pipeline should take place next week end and is a Pistols Only Event suggested by Walkerboh. We're looking @ either Friday or Saturday night (depending on our EM's availability and personal schedule/commitments). We're looking at disabling the awp vending machine and the Golden Gun for the duration of the event. So it'll be pretty much just pistols, knives and health packs.

Loubot tells me he should be able to hook us up, so hopefully we can get it organised and locked in for next weekend. I just need to confirm the details with him.
Loubot going to be busy from memory with exams and irl commitments after next weekend so we may also need to hold off on future events or space them out over the coming weeks and months.

Just some random event ideas:

• Awp and Knife only event (pistols are disabled if the plugins allow for this).

• Flashbang Dodge Ball scenario (exactly how it's implemented as a last request on our Jail Break server minus the menu and visble tether line and enabled for all players server wide, no friendly fire). This was just a spur of the moment idea that more than likely wont/cant happen because of the basic logistics of setting it up correctly. The white screen flash effect is disabled, players respawn with only 1hp and no armour, players keep respawning flashbangs. Health packs are disabled, and if knives are not disabled as well then the health boost from knifing will need to be reset to zero also. All in all probably more trouble than it's worth trying to set up for a single event.

• Golden Gun and Knife only event, Basically everyone has a GG (Desert Eagle, 1 shot reload) and their knife and that's it.

What about an epic kill day / week. first to 1k kills. Different gun sets each day as well perhaps?

I think there was a dust event similar ages ago and it worked well.

I like that idea Tonic. Maybe something more challenging like first to 1k kills for the day having used random weapons only.
And Knight Ops isnt eligible. Someone else might have a chance then. :P
