Thought I would create a new thread in the appropriate section specifying the server/races to select from.
Server
I have been doing a bit of research and I have found that Ollo is going to be the way to go for Oceanic players. Its a good mix of pvp and pve.
Factions
The game has 2 available factions at the moment: The East and the West.
The East factions consist of Firrans and Harani, and the West consists of Elves and Nuians. There will be 2 new races coming soon (east-warborn, west-Dwarfs).
I am personally opting for the west as I know a few people like to play as elves and I like playing as a human (or as close as possible to). The only thing I would opt for in the East would be the Harani and their gathering bonus, but that would make a small contribution to the game.
Classes
There are currently 10 classes in Archeage, and players are able to select from 3 as the game progresses (start with 1 then get another and then your third).
These classes are as follows:
Battlerage - This specialization includes powerful blows, inflicting devastating damage, as well as methods of buffing the warrior and weakening his or her enemies.
Sorcery - By choosing this path, the hero will have access to devastating elemental spells that cause damage to one or more enemies.
Archery - This path of development will make the hero a skilled archer
