Hey guys ! hows it going ?

Lately there has been some issues with people freekilling and abusing when there isn't a admin on ( although 90 % of the time there is one on ) although it can still happen when a admin is on . Because dtk has a strict no demo no ban policy it can be sometimes difficult 2 prove if someone was breaking the rules or not without a demo and then justice goes unserved . I suggest source tv to be on the server 24/7 so that any major incidents can be provin with the servers source tv .

I remember jb having Source tv around the time I joined and then it just went away suddenly . I can understand that having source tv will cost money and be time consuming , but I still feel like it should be considered . =)

I don't think it was utilized enough for it to be worthwhile. I used it all the time but I may have been one of the few :3

It doesn't cost us extra money to implement Source TV. It was turned off during last years steampipe update as it was affecting server performance and never put back on as we have had ongoing issues with the Fast DL server.

demos arent really needed, you can just vote swap someone if they are freekilling, other t's will vote yes to swap them especially if they are freekilling.
THEN if they rejoin get an admin/em/staff/council member on and they will deal with the issue, its really not hard to meassage an admin, 99% of the time there is atleast 1 player online that can deal with the issue.

In that 1% chance that no staff, jb admins, ems or council members are on (this aint gonna happen) you dont say anything when they freekill, instead you go into console type "record freekillingdemo" then you let him do it again, then you go back into console and type "stop"
Chuck it on forums and it can be dealt with later.

We all forget 2 demo sometimes and myself I demo most of the time and of course when something does happen freekilling or just something funny it kills me because that will be the time I wasnt demoing haha ! We all can admit that something had happen and u think 2 urself " ahhh I wish I demoing " .
Also would be nice 2 have another added protection 2 the server , like someone watching over us !

Bind Demo to 2 keys so you can start / end one.

Although, it would be nice to get SourceTV back for some smoove demo's

Not always , there isn't always a admin on the server and I think u need 2 re-read my Thread friend Because admins can not deal with a problem if they get messaged 2 go on jb because of a freekiller and the freekiller has stopped freekilling , the admin can't do nothing about it because " They didn't see it " . There is always admins on steam so there is no problem with that ( admins are doing a great job btw ) and then nohing is done about the rule breakers because no one was demoing atm and no admins are on . We need sourcetv 2 fix problems like these which have been happening alot lately .

But like squall said it causes lag and interferes with fast download .

There is always admins on steam so there is no problem with that.

! loubot is saying that a admin will be able 2 sort it outside of the server and I am saying hes wrong because u need proof 2 be able 2 ban someone .

players dont need to be banned for freekilling, they can be ct-banned so they can still be on the server, or they can just be swapped.
A lot of "freekilling" instances are just bullshit anyway, people claim to be freekilled because they werent paying attention and didnt know what the order was so they claim freekilling, tbh people complaining about freekilling is one the things that kills my taste for jb, people need to learn the rules and be aware that if they are being a smart ass to a ct they can just be killed
