    Event Suggestion: Dust2 DM Throwing Knives

    Maybe one day on a weekend when the server has the most players on could we trial throwing knives on this server and see how it goes? I did bring this up in the Dust2 suggestions thread but I don't think anything has eventuated from it so I was wondering if it is possible to set up an event for it maybe for a full day as a trial.

    I always ask players in game about what they may like to see added to the server and this seems very popular as a fair few of the players on Dust2 DM also play office which has throwing knives.

    I wouldn't mind seeing throwing knives in Dust 2 DM, it'd definitely be a change of pace and might actually be useful for clearing out choke points on either side. ie. T's in Pit, throw a few knives and hopefully you might hit someone in the face. It also encourages people to knife more cause of the extra knives you receive for stabbing a player.

    I'm all for it.

    Well refer to my Dust2 suggestion post regarding throwing knives but I did mention there how you start off with 0 throwing knives and you have to knife someone normally to recieve 1 throwing knife and gain more by knifing people. I'm not sure if you kill someone with a throwing knife you gain one as well maybe just keep it to knifing someone the normal way to gain a throwing knife is sufficient we dont wanna be able to spam throwing knives but more so reward them to players who get knife kills =]

    There are quite a few people keen for this event to see how it turns out =D

    If it's a no go then that's fine but I believe it is definitely worthy of a trial event.
