    Need ideas

    Hi all!

    I am in the midst of making a new map for jail break. I won't reveal too much about the theme or its contents just yet, but I am in need of some unique mini game ideas that we can create/implement.

    I am looking to steer clear of the 'usual' jailbreak delights like soccer, basketball, wipeout etc, but if you have a fun variation in mind, please post it.

    Any ideas are appreciated and credits will be given if your idea is used.

    a bomb deffusal room minigame that you have like 6 butttons or some shit one defuses the bomb and the others do good/bad things, buttons randomized for funzies maybe? I dunno I thought of this like 10 seconds ago.

    Actually, that's a cool idea. I made a prefab a while ago for a randomised keycode panel. Can adapt that so the Ts have x amount of time to decode the panel of the bomb goes off.

    Yeah that one was done on sand. Is a minefield that stretches across a field and Ts need to make it to the other side.

    theres a minigames map that has this for a castle wars game where u build up a defence and then fight it out

    Yeah I have decomped the map see the technique used - its simply a button parented to a knife in front of the players crosshairs and has an entity spawner in front of them. I am nearing the entity limit of the map though, so this might consume too many at this point. Is certainly a good idea though.

    I had a idea that I was going 2 use for my map ! But its practically clay shooting . I am sure someone could come up with a few minigames using clay shooting . you press a button its spawn a clay plate it goes into a machine and it launchs it into a massive field and that t's have 2 try and shoot it , either one by one or at the same time , maybe even in teams =)

    That's a really cool idea.

    Could use a dispenser on a func_rotating to mix the movements up and change the push speed to allow for variable shots. Can have 2 shooters (1 red and 1 blue) and have 3 shots per sitting. Can make it so when 1 is shot, the other is removed and the point is awarded to the shooter. Best 2 out of 3 wins.

    Maybe a game where the T's run around a checkered plane (like in breakfloor) and the T's have to try and kill the other participants by knifing the square block that their competitor is standing on causing the floor to break below them so they fall to their death.

    that has been done... it was in a minecraft map, the one where you spawn underground

    'Shooting range game (alternative)'
    - It'd be like 'em games you fast ball a target and the person dunks into the water.


    2 Prisoners stand faced on opposite platforms, the platform raises, then say, 7 targets are shown behind them and they are spawned Deagles T's must be the quicker, more accurate shooter to eliminate the opponent who as a result, falls to their death.

    'Take Cover!'
    - Stategic/Risk game.

    Prisoners walks into a large space and facing directly at them is a canon operated by a designated T.
    To their disposal are barriers to which they can hide behind. The Canon operator can aim to shoot at any T not hiding behind a barrier,
    but collectively the one's taking cover must strategically make a lengthy travel to the canon operator and press a button to defuse him to ensure their survival.

    I have a drinking game I play with my mates called The Gauntlet. (played with a deck of cards- imagine your own adaptation).
    Cards are layed out as follows (with underscores):
    1 2 3 4 5
    .._ _ _
    _ _ _ _ _
    .._ _ _

    You must pass from 1 to 5 by picking any path. You must turn 5 cards over in total (must pick first and last card).
    Things that prevent you from getting through the gauntlet is face cards. Jack = 1 finger, Q = 2 fingers, K = 3 fingers, A = half your drinking vessel, Joker = double your next face card.
    Turning numbered cards lets you progress to the next level.
    You might want to get through by turning the following:
    1 2 3 4 5
    .._ _ _
    _ _ _ _ _
    .._ _ _
    And you might win- but you also might turn a face card. Substitute drink quantities for player health and we have ourselves a minigame!
