DtK Deathmatch Servers Weapon Removals + Titanfall Giveaways [2 Copies]

Dear DtK Community,


This is an announcement to all DtK Deathmatch Server [Dust2,Office,SM DM,etc] players that no weapons will be getting removed from any of the DM servers.


Players simply should not be getting restricted from using their weapon of choice at all. A good player can make any weapon he/she uses seem OP. Each and every weapon in this game has it's strength and weaknesses. There isn't a single weapon that doesn't have a counter. Just because you get killed continually by weapon X, doesn't mean weapon X is OP nor does you getting killed by a weapon you deem to be 'nooby' a valid reason for it's removal.

Ideally every weapon should be available in it's default state with no restrictions on it (bullets per round,limited to x per map etc). However since some servers had some weapons disabled for a while now, it would have been a harder transition if weapons were re-introduced in their default forms. This is why weapons have been re-introduced in the forms of vending machines, with lesser bullets per round or limited to 1 per team etc. Once players get accustomed to these weapons they will be slowly going back to its default state.


Would you like your favorite weapon to be removed from our servers because other players do not like it? It's not really a question of 'majority rule' as some of you have been bringing up the previous poll(s). It's a matter of where does it end? Remove awps, remove dak daks, what's next? M4/AK because its most popular? Remove TMP/MAC because only 1-2 people use it? Removing weapons isn't the answer. If some of you actually did the maths and learnt to aim for the head instead of jumping on bandwagons, you would find you will have a better time on the servers.

Onto to the 2 Titanfall giveaways. I am giving away 2 copies of Titanfall (awesome game btw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UTA0XsPetEA)


1st Copy: To win the 1st copy, you simply have to write a proper guide for the Office Server, as it is the server having issues with coping with weapon re-introductions and camping. You guide must address the following:

a. How to counter camping (especially CT campers)
b. How to counter Dak Daks (especially those CT campers in the window close to ct spawn)
c. How to counter P90 rushers
d. How to be a better player on Office (Tips,etc)

Pictures,videos, etc will be preferred. Anyone is eligible to participate however only the best guide will be getting the prize.


2nd Copy: The 2nd Copy will be given to the player with most kills on players using Dak Dak on the Office Server. I will be coding a plugin to monitor this and you will see on your screen when you join Office, how many total kills you have on a player using Dak Dak. The player with most kills at the end of 2 weeks will receive a copy of game. (2 weeks start when the plugin is introduced to Office). Again everyone is eligible to enter.

theres no more weapon removal or changes. every weapon default ammo all that shit. its good to comeback to the normal css

My understanding is that it's the most kills against a player who was using the dak dak when you killed them.
Bots are set to random weapons atm as they have been all along, so players shouldn't be able to milk them for kills towards the comp.

Doesn't stop you going on with a few friends and having them all use a dak dak.

If this happens on the sever and someone's lame ass friends wants to go afk whilst holding dak dak's so someone can rig the comp.

Well there's your solution for campers right there, especially dak dak/awp campers. If you see one throw a smoke nade making them have to get out of their position if they want to keep killing and probably getting killed at the same time.

I'm fairly sure anyone found to be doing this will be disqualified from the competition.
We also have a few tools at our disposal to identifying if anyone tries to do this. So it's not really an issue.

That's pretty much the reason why smoke nades where brought back, though it also raises concerns with regard to gameplay dynamics and also some players on lower end systems can suffer from an FPS reduction when smoke is popped. Over all I haven't heard anyone complain about them in game and they do aid with blocking a campers field of view if players use them advantageously to the benefit of their team.

oh yeah guys before this comp starts we might wana do something about nameless he is a regular office player but is afk nearly all weekdays. Many players including me have killed many time once even 800 times in a game. But the point is that something needs to be done about this guy.
