Hello everyone.

Some of you may remember me, and some may not, but I'm a previous player of CSS and was trooper rank before I left DtK and got on with my life.

About a year back I was VAC (Valve Anti-cheat) banned, from CSS for using the bad stuff. I was stupid and not thinking about ruining other peoples time.

So I was thinking that I would re-buy CSS on a new account and re-join DTK. But I thought I'd better ask not only the owner but the community if you would accept me back. I'm willing to clean up my act and come back into DTK for a fresh new start. Ranking from a simple user to neophyte etc.

I hope you accept my apology and let me back into DTK,

Hmmm. Seems legit. Not too much sugar-coating and hasnt gone over the top with butt-kissing.
Other people have had less-favourable circumstances involving VAC bans. I believe people have made returns after hacking disputes (not sure) [Also opportunity to lol@Rowdy for banning on JB].

Personally I wouldnt have a problem with it on the condition you kept to your word, and I sometimes believe people should be given the opportunity to walk their talk.
Ultimately you are correct in that it depends on the owners.

That's how firm and serious a stance Valve takes on hackers.

Gmod is a source game hence the ban on CSS too, so I'm told [never played Gmod so iunno]

Anyway, from my point of view, you're fine to rejoin the ranks, obvs you weren't banned off DtK severs, and obvs if you hack on DtK this time, you'll be banned before you can say boo.

If you rejoin the ranks you'll have to wait the 1mo cool down just like all returning members.

So yeah, all good from my POV.

No, if you get VACED from Garry's Mod, you're still be able to play CSS, you will just not be able to play on Garry's Mod only, doesn't matter what "engine" it's based on.

I don't feel convinced to whether you are certain that you wont hack again. It's probably a risk that a few people are not willing to take.

Imo general 'hacking' or having an advantage over others who are probably more skilled at the game isn't okay and i'd despise someone that'd do it against me.
But considering he's not against me - or anyone else on css, i'm cool with dat.

I don't have a problem with you rejoining, people who hack are really at the core of it only cheating themselves. Although it does affect everyone else. It just makes you a liar plain and simple, that is not an honest trait. You seem sincere, and I believe in giving only one more chance. To try and redeem yourself, and make to make good what you have done wrong.

Thanks guys, most of you believe I can make a change and come back, and some people don't believe I'm up to it. I accept that. It is your opinion and yours alone, I'm not going to argue. I don't know how you're banned from CS:S from cheating on GMOD... I've hacked numerous times on gmod and its piss easy to get away with it. Unless you use third party software and like inject .dll files, then you'll get a VAC ban. Aside from that, there are two different types of bans for GMOD, GAC and VAC bans. Neither should stop you from playing on VAC secured css servers because they aren't affiliated with the ban system.
