Hey something is wrong with the right window(from T side)..you can't move through the window,it just bounces you back every time..same thing when trying to jump up from the ct side..can you please check this out please.

It's an invisible box, it's a test currently, we are working on reducing the CT camp ability there.

Because it gets too congested. We are going to try a couple of things. There are plenty of other camp spots around the map, this was just one of the ones we discussed in the server meeting we had last week so we are working on making a change.
As some of you have no doubt noticed, the tech boffins at DTK have helpfully instituted a change to the Office large bay window that directly looks into the T spawn point. Access through the left hand side window (from CT perspective) has effectively been barred; although one can break, and fire/nade through, the window, it cannot be passed through - and no player (either CT or T) can climb atop the dumpster bin adjacent to it (effectively addressing camping issues).
I assume this is a somewhat temporary (and rough) modification to initially assess any issues that may arise and to evaluate the effect upon gameplay that may occur as a result of the change.
So, just some initial impressions:
- Gameplay appears to be a lot faster, as without the window camping that typically occurs, Ts exit spawn faster and more brazenly. Spawn is no longer a slaughter choke point for Ts, even though CTs still have the option to camp on hallway and stairwell corners. As such, players on both sides appear to engage quicker, and at closer range.
- CTs do need to have access to the ledge, to enter via the right-hand (broken) window. At the moment, this is effectively barred because no player can climb atop the dumpster from the ground (and thereby access the ledge). As such, any player can exit through the right-hand window to the ground, but entry from the ground (via the dumpster) is not possible. This isn't workable and is clearly unfair to CTs, who are reduced to one access point via that route (i.e. through the stairwell).
My suggestion would be to make the glass of the left-hand window unbreakable (i.e. it effectively becomes a wall, although transparent), which would allow access to the ledge via the dumpster as usual but without permitting camping (i.e. campers can't shoot through a transparent - but unbreakable - window). The limitation to this is that no fire (either via weaponry or grenade) can pass through the window, which would restrict CT ability to throw grenades directly into T spawn whilst they run toward the window (a common tactic). On the other hand, Ts cannot propel grenades from T spawn through the window (a common tactic), either - so the restrictions to gameplay that result from an unbreakable window are balanced.
There are certainly other options (such as shifting dumpsters and crates), but they might take more programming work, and would alter the existing map more than required...?

Why not have an anti camp plugin? I've seen them before, if your In a certain spot for to long it beacons you and slaps you every couple of seconds
This was discussed in the other Office thread that I made a few days ago, half the window can't be made unbreakable as the whole window is a single entity.
This was why the invisible rectangle was introduced.
A step in the right direction but ofc still in testing stage atm.
It's been suggested by a few of us that the blue crate be removed instead that way CT can't congest and camp on the ledge but people can still pass through the RHS.
Feedback is slowly being collected from players so we shall see how it goes ^_^
Currently the rectangle sticks out a little too far it's been found, so people think something is glitching.
So we're working either making it a little smaller, or something different like the remove the blue crate idea.
We still want to be able to nade & shoot from T spawn etc, that's why it's penetrable.

Instead of pushing players away, any player in the zone will simply not be able to shoot. The zone is now visible to all players.

I like the update though a bit of fine tuning is still required, this is a step in the right direction
