    Post DtK Olympics - Competition #2 : Surf [18th-19th January]

    Dear DtK Community,

    The 2nd DtK Olympics competition to be held will be Surf : War.

    When & Where:
    This competition will be held on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th of January on DtK's Olympic Server. Server IP and Source TV details will be provided later.


    Participants:

    The following 3 communities will be participating:

    #Mr. Community
    Dying2kill Community
    Freedom Gamers Community



    Format:
    Each community will send 2 teams, each team will be made up of 5 players. The competition will be held on surf combat maps with winners being decided by the usual war rules i.e 1st team to win 16 rounds is declared the winner. Matches will be held on 100tick server. (fall damage,400 air accel,etc) This will be a double elimination tournament with 2 brackets - see below for example. Match rosters will be posted when all communities have submitted their teams (should be done by atleast the week before the competition).


    Competition Officials:
    This competition will be managed by:
    Frendy, EM's and Surf admins




    Competition Rules:
    Standard war rules apply.




    DtK Team:

    Selections will start soon for DtK's 2 teams. If you are a Surf God and interested in representing DtK please forward your name to Frendy. (you must be a current DtK member)

    Match 6 (I) : Loser C vs Loser B 6pm Server #2

    Match 7 (J) : Winner H vs Winner I 7pm Server #1


    Sunday:

    Match 8 (E) : Winner C vs Winner D 5pm Server #1

    Match 9 (K): Winner J vs Winner Loser E 6pm Server #1

    I would love to play but 400 air accelerate is fairly low for combat surf. For example you have to turn much slower compared to the air accelerate is 1000. At least that's how I find it.
