DtK Rust Server - ONLINE

By now you might've heard about a DtK Rust server and it's true DtK has a Rust server. It is only a TRIAL server so it may not stay around forever. Rust is not a free game, it costs $20 and is in it's alpha stage but it is well worth the money.

Rust is a mix between DayZ, Minecraft and Stalker where you have to survive against the infected and build bases, find loot and make friends or enemies.

To connect to this server, press f1 to open console,
type in net.connect 119.252.190.247:28465





Active:
-Door Sharing: You can now share doors with your friends. Type /share name to allow your friends to open/close your doors and /unshare name to remove the privilege.

-Private Message System: You can now PM your friends on the server. type /PM name message

Base Alarms: Alerts player if someone is breaking into their base. (Monitors doors,barricades,etc)

Groups: Allows players to create groups. Group members can chat with each other and see online statuses of fellow members;

gwho - See which group members are online
/g "Message" - Group chat


/gcreate - Create a group
/gdelete - Delete a group
/ginvite Playername


Being Implemented:

-Starter Kits: New players will spawn with a better outfit and survival gear. (armor,weapon,healthpack,etec).

Crafting Improvements: Some changes will be made to improve the overall experience on the server e.g shorter crafting time

Improved Loot Tables: Changes will be made to loot drops of animals,zombies,etc to make it more rewarding.


Planned:

-Coordinate System to find friends
- Day / Night Control
- Kills announced on Global Chat (X killed Y)

Angro's Guide to Econ -
Though i won't tell you how to make profit the fastest (cos it's simple enough)
I can tell you how to get started
the commands are all under /ehelp
A starters tip is that Capitals are all counted.
Another, "these marks" don't have to be used unless there is a space in the players or objects name.
So you can.. if you're lazy avoid using them if the name doesn't contain a space.
e.g. /money Angro send 69, or /buy Wood 250

Sending money
/money "Angro" send 69

Check Balance
/money

Checking Prices!
/price (For all item Sub groups)
/price wood (Sub-group, for all wood structures)
/price Wood (For the Wood itself)

Buying Items!
/buy "Name" amount
/buy "Research Kit 1" 99
/buy "Wood" 250

Selling Items!

Idk if it's on purpose or not but i like it!
The buy/sell/price only list a few items that don't break the economy,
Such as:
The metal and wood building materials, the basic resources - cloth, wood, stones, metal and sulfur ore.
And Wood planks and low quality metal (For some reason lol)
I hope this isnt a bug in the system because by removing the weapons (Such as the bolt action rifle which resources cost was 47.5k and sold for 135k and took a minute to create) money is much harder (reasonable - almost) to obtain.
Now it's still necessary to collect resources and hunt zombies and animals alike.

Quite a few people were complaining last night about their money being reset. So i'll take it that it was reset because of the exploiting of that weakness in the store (The one where you'd just buy the resources, create the item and sell it for a higher price to gain profit). I think it was just so people got back onto an even playing level although the people who spent countless hours grinding zombies and killing animals/players were quite frustrated that they'd have the do that all over again.

I'm sure they would be frustrated, I'm surprised there wasn't a server wipe considering the amount of people (including myself) who were making millions through the econ mod.
I didn't warn people about the money reset even though it was obvious.
and i didnt spawn and hide millions worth of items in chests before the mod was reset either.
I lost everything aswell, i dont mind because it's the nature of the game - and that mod was broken xD.
(plus i had 3k before the mod was reset anyways due to my 'group' irl idiots forgetting that you lose 50% of your money when killed by another player lol).

Apparently there are tools that allow you to go around and delete those annoying structures that no one uses. Hopefully we can avoid a wipe .

There are ideas i must test... if everyone puts c4 on the bottom of squalls house. then we time the explosion. Will squalls house?
