T sided Maps .

Hey everyone ! How are we going ?

I am not sure if anyone else noticed ! But There is 2 many T-sided maps on Jb . ! Listing a few are Lego , lockdown , minecraft maps , summer and Winter and theres heaps more ! . I have got nothing wrong with a challenge and as a jber who likes going ct and wardens I feel like something needs 2 be done because I feel and have seen this happen and I believe that Jb is crumbling because of to many T-sided maps .

here why !
1. Ever noticed why u never see people fighting 2 get on ct anymore ? well its simple really ... There are just 2 many t-sided maps and people are scared to join Ct Because they might face embarrassment , ridicule and just annoyance .

2. Because People are scared to join Ct it leaves the ratio at around 1/5 ( not always but most of the time ) , like for example there may be 3 ct to 14 t's and with this many t's its just to difficult .

3. Because there are not enough Ct's or maybe its just a impossible map . Most of the round is spent Gun checking , finding rebelling t's and Most of the time The round may not even start because rebelling is so eazy and its so eazy to kill the Ct's

4. Because Ct's spend the round doing this.. there is no time for games or maybe there is a only a few t/'s left and its impossible to do any descent group games Because of the lack of t's .

5 and because this is the reason why people leave jb and the server becomes dead . Like today for example . I was on ct on the map lego , we had about 12 t's and about 3 ct's and at the end of the map it was empty ( have a demo if anyone wants 2 see it )... People are leaving because there either bored because they died rebelling and have 2 wait ages because Ct's are trying 2 get a handle of things or Simply its just not fun . Rebelling is fun.. but not over and over again .

My solution !! bring back More Ct Sided Maps ! Like colourful , Older version of lego , battleforce ! These maps where great and I have had so many fun times on these maps !!

Bring more Ct sided maps and I promise population will pick up

Battleforce was removed ages ago because of being T sided and glitchy... Lego is one of the most favoured maps, so are the minecraft ones and new_summer.Winter is very fair, if not CT sided. This is the second thread you've made about JB "dying", yet population is constant and strong. Jailbreak, like other servers comes and goes with popularity. Also on a personal note, I rather CT on harder maps because its just more fun and I think this is the same for some others.

Another note: JB admins are working on the maplist and trying new things in general with JB.

Goose I respect u as a admin and as a friend and I have 2 disagree Jb's population is constant in the sense that its dying .. right now 10 people are on 30 mins ago it was 6 ! There is a problem and something need 2 be done ! I care about jb .. I hate 2 see it die thats why I want 2 do everything I can 2 save it ! Lego is not a favoured map and I can prove it .

Most of the maps you listed aren't T sided, they're perfectly fine, it's the CT teams that are lacking and at the moment, we do have more people who insist on rebelling every round.

Just because it's seemingly impossible to get a round in between the rebelling, does not automatically make it a T sided map, it just means better management from CT's is required. CT's forget that the first 30 seconds with the T's being muted is a perfect opportunity for the warden to ask other ct's to go to specific spots to keep control over the T's as much as possible.


TLDR = it's not the maps fault, it's the CT's.

Okay, I just have to question

So....more people have joined in the space of 30mins? Isn't that a good thing >__>

Also, with all due respect, JB has had multiple people on it nearly every night for the last few weeks, I've been on...I've seen it.

I also agree with Becca, CT's are more responsible for Ts' successfully rebelling every single round, moreso than the map is. Sure there needs to be more confident CT's and just in general more people jumping on the CT side, but when a good few are on, it works well.

So are you trying 2 say that the Skill of the Ct's isnt as good as it was ? If so we need more eazyier maps so that new People on Ct can gain new skills and then take on harder maps .

To be blunt.....we play JB, we can check player numbers via DtK, via Steam etc, we don't need screen shots multiple times a day, everyday. Jus'sayin'.

Also, different people CT now than in the past, skill levels are different per person, it also helps a great deal to have good skill levels across the spectrum of all CTs' playing that side per map. The more people CTing and the better the combined skill, the easier it'll be. They can bounce off each other. Peoples' skills will grow as they play the same maps over again and learn how other people Warden/CT.

I don't even CT and I know there are easy maps on rotation for any type of CT.

I'm confident the JB admins have a full rotation of equally T or CT sided maps, giving the chance for rebelling and successful wardening to happen...and yeah as Goose mentioned, they are working on updating the rotation too.


Also, you gotta keep in mind alot of people on DtK at the moment have HSC, VCE [I think that's the acronym] blah blah so they are all AFK, [including some admins] and the population will most likely have an influx again within the next month, this happens every year.

Circumstances may be involved with u rebelling and not rebelling and being successful !

Jailbreak has been like this all year and has slowly decreased since the start ! Yeah I have only started playing everyday because I miss Jb and I don't want it 2 die . Sure I may not of been on the server , but the reason I wasn't on was souley because of pop... it was so little I thought " whats the point ! ... dw I have always had a idea on jb . ! I wouldn't be making these threads if I didnt think there was problem .
