Hello, Syonix here

I noticed that the "Default Maps Rotation" hasn't been getting much players on it and this morning when I went on CSS I saw a Nilla server that said Full Rotation 32/32 Players and this afternoon It still said 32/32 players. I'm just wondering if maybe you change the Description to "Full Rotation" it may get the players active on the server. Like just think a guy wants to play a Full Rotation server but It's full and then he's looking for a server then he sees "DtK 16 Full Rotation" I think he'll join it. Oh and if it works then you can put Ranked Stats in there and maybe even more people will join.

Just puttin it out there because I've been into the Nilla Source servers lately and I always see "Default Maps" 0/24. Cheers from Syonix A.K.A Chocolo!!

I also wondering that i didn't like the rule that every 5 matches all teams are scrambled. Can't u take that off and play as normal. I would love to play more default matches but no one is ever on. If that rule is off i think more people would come on and play and ill try get more ppl on.

I personally like the team scramble. Makes it different to every other full maps rotation server.

yeah we are different from all other rotation servers becuz we have no ppl and allthere ones are full

I'm not sure if "Full Rotation" will make much of a difference as there are well known servers such as gamearena and gameson.net.au that have a known player base. Not saying that DTK isn't known but there are full rotation servers that have been there for a while.

Honestly, try taking the bots off for a few weeks, i don't want to play on there with those annoying bots, some other people don't either, just a thought.

Yeah I guess the "Full rotation" thing might not help but if you take off the bots and then we get maybe 12 people on the server and on Dust2 I think alot of people will join

Here are my suggestions

1. Remove teamkill??
2. Add Deadchat so you can talk to the other team while you are dead for a bit of an environment so it is not so serious, have a laugh etc.
3. Enable freelook but dont allow players that are dead to talk to the alive people if you know what i mean
4. Remove the bots (Noone likes bots)

Also some map suggestions to mix it up and add abit of fun in...

I would be happy to hop on when I can to try to fill it up and get a regular rotation, if these changes are made. I have been playing the server Syonix is talking about alot recently and it is full nearly all day after 2pm

Honestly guys, It's not that hard to get this server populated how it is, yesterday DeaN and I jumped on and invited our friends and quickly got the server up to 15 players. You just have to put some effort in and give yourself the challenge of being the first person to do something.

really dont mean to shoot you down, but isnt this what we have SMDM for?, idk about the other server you guys are talking about (gamearena or whatevs it is) but i know part of the reason we created this server was to have a full server of simply nilla maps, with pug type settings once your dead your dead etc etc. sure the dead chat stuff might be handy but i dont think adding custom maps and what have you will do much apart from make it like SMDM

although i do agree with shadow, all it takes is some willing people to jump in, invite some friends, and you will get the server going easily

Moite, it will be nothing like SMDM. SMDM is respawn once dead, Nilla is stay dead until everyone is dead, custom maps are just for a bit more fun because the regular maps get boring, need a bit of spice. They are good maps anyway, i have played them on other rotation servers that are popular and people love them. The settings on the server atm, are a bit to serious, need to lighten the mood up a bit because we want to play competitive, but also have a laugh at the same time. Trust me, my suggestions will make the server a much better place, but if you don't want to use them, thats ok
