    Best Games I've Ever Played.

I was just thinking of all the best games I've ever played. I had to really think about it, because to call a game the "best you've ever played" is a bold statement. For a game to mean that much to me it has to do a lot for me.

I'm going to tell you some of the best games I've ever played. Maybe some of you will agree and I think it will give some of you who haven't played them before a chance to check out some really cool games too. Feel free to give me feedback on my list and tell me some games you think are the best you've ever played.

Final Fantasy 7. This was the first Final Fantasy title I played and in my opinion the best one. Me and my grandad used to play a lot of PlayStation 1 together and for Christmas one year my Grandma got me Tomb Raider 2 and he got Final Fantasy 7. I didn't like Tomb Raider and he didn't like FF so we swapped. Best swap I've ever done in my life. This game amazed me and it was the first game I ever got addicted to. I would play this for days on end. I could relate to the characters, the game world was detailed and had much to explore, the story was so rich and in depth. This game introduced me to the RPG genre and changed the way I looked at games.

Halo: Combat Evolved. I got this game in a bundle pack with the Xbox when I bought it. I had no idea how awesome of a game it was going to be. It showed that an FPS could work on a console, not just work but kick ass. The graphics were amazing, in fact it blew away most games on PC at the time. The story was compelling, the enemy AI was fantastic, the soundtrack was beautiful, the environment and level design was breathtaking. This is the game that really got me into FPS games.

Half-Life 2. When I got this game it was on the Xbox as well, I still hadn't gotten into PC gaming just yet. Let me tell you if you haven't played this game yet, you need to. This game takes interactive story telling to a whole new level. It made me feel like I was actually in the game, they way everything is shown from the first person perspective and never changed to cut scenes or anything. Again, everything about this game is top notch. The game mechanics, the graphics, AI, the physics especially. This game is a mind blowing adventure from start to finish.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. When I first played this I hadn't played an RPG in years, but it definitely reawakened my love for them. The amount of detail that went into this game is nothing short of amazing. The lore is so rich, a living breathing world to explore. The graphics are beautiful, even by today's standards. The character customization was so in depth, you could truly craft a character that suited your exact playing style. I would spend hours on end just exploring the game world. Raiding and looting dungeons, hunting vampires, searching for ingredients to create your own custom potions, enchanting your armour. This game had it all. A must play for any fantasy/RPG gamer.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Shadow of Chernobyl. This game really surprised me with how unique it was. An FPS/RPG hybrid that somehow pulled it off. Set in a post-apocalyptic Russia after a horrible nuclear accident, the setting and atmosphere really peaked my interest. Some of the most unique enemy characters I've ever seen in a game due to the mutation and radiation that has occurred in the game. A dark end creepy setting with a chilling atmosphere that literally had me jumping off me seat in some parts. I also have to mention this game has some of the most realistic gun mechanics I've seen in a game yet. It features a huge open world for you to explore, many quests and alternate endings based on the actions you took in the game, it has much to do and complete.

Alan Wake. This is a third person survival horror. Don't let that deter you if you're not a fan of that genre. It's nothing like Silent Hill or Resident Evil for example. Where this game shines is it's story telling. I would compare it to a hit TV show like Dexter or Breaking Bad. Which makes sense too, because the game is unfolds through "episodes" much like a TV series does. The thing that kept me playing was the pacing of the game, the story was so interesting I just had to find out what happened next. On top of the beautiful environments, challenging enemies and hidden collectibles throughout the game world. This game is a definite must play.

Well there you have it, sorry if it isn't very well written. I just wanted to give you my thoughts on what I consider the best games I've ever played to be. Let me know what you think and please share your games too
    Corsair 650D, ASUS P8P67 Deluxe, 2x Gigabyte GTX 670 SLI , Intel i7 2600K 4.6GHz, 8GB G.Skill Ripjaws X 1866MHz, OCZ 120GB SSD, 2x 2TB HDD, Noctua NH-D14, Corsair HX-1000W.

    RuneScape 2006-2010
    Counter-Strike: Source
    Counter-Strike: Condition Zero
    Pokemon 1st and 3rd Gen's + Fire Red
Pokemon Stadium 1/2, Colosseum and XD (Think it was called XD) xD

    Warcraft 3
Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2005)
    Age of Empires II
    CoD: WAW / MW2
    Halo 1-3

As much as you may hate on CoD. I had countless hours of game play on both with countless memories with friends playing Zombies (Der Riese ftw) or Multiplayer on Mw2. These were the golden years for CoD in my opinion.

EDIT: (SHIT, HOW DID I FORGET HALO)

from literally 2004-2010 all I played was Runescape, then they just completely ♥♥♥♥ed the game and made it so gay.
I have played css probably since 07. love the game still, just got no time these days, I recently had a little time and played half life 2 that was pretty interesting kinda enjoyed some parts of the game and others were just shit.
On ps2 all i played was tony hawk american wasteland. I mean I would love to see someone beat me at that game, I ♥♥♥♥ing destroyed that game inside and out.
xbox was all about COD for me. became hooked spent many 48hours straight playing that game haha.
just to pass a little time when i was bored i use to play the fifa games or the tiger woods games for shits.
I still kinda play runescape from time to time, But i really don't have time to game anymore, all I am doing is golfing doing college work and hanging with my lover. Eh maybe I can make a comeback to some games, right now its doubtful.

Maby not the best game I have ever played, but to the moon (an Indie game on steam) Is by far the most emotional, saddening game I have ever played (even thou your playing it for the story, not what little gameplay there is to offer. I admit, I think portal was good but very ver over exaggerated. A game I always had a soft spot for was Age of Mythology (AOE2 Spin Off) Very fun game.

Other honorable mentions go to the Original Fable Game, Deus Ex (I liked it) and Fallout (3 and New Vegas)

Well thats just what I think anyway.

Lets see.. in terms of every platform of games I had played on.

Handheld console games (Gameboy to the DS to the PSP):
Mario Kart, Super Mario Bro., Mario and Luigi RPG, Mario Party. I mean, they are so fun, even if you're an adult still. It brings a lighthearted and fun gameplay to it.
Pokemon Crystal, Sapphire/Emerald and Soul Silver (the new gens are great, but they dont give the experience these 3 gave me).
Summon Night Twin Age. Really underrated game, by far one of the best DS RPG's out.

Crisis Core: My first ever Final Fantasy game, I didn't quite like the original gameplay I experience on the DS, thus, Crisis Core's did an impact on me. And not to mentioned, I completed it like 3 times. Also probably one of the saddest endings of a game I ever seen.

Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep, Best PSP game, hands down. Special mention: KHII and 358/2 Days, basically the series as a whole, though I missed some installments. KH1 was meh to me. I am not too fond of the gameplay in 358/2 Days (though still good, just not the magic system), what actually made me like this was because of the characters targetted in the game. Its not Sora, its Roxas! KH2 was damn epic.
    (Note: I played KH1 and 2 on a PS2 emulator, but I will for sure, buy a PS4 just for KH3!)

    PC:
Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. It's the best RPG game out. I don't care what you think. It has everything, I prefer this over Skyrim, though however, I would actually play Skyrim more since.. well.. "better graphics". But in terms of gameplay, world and quest, Oblivion is better.

GTA San Andreas, who hasn't played this? Easily the best GTA (pre GTA V release, I never played that so..)

Final Fantasy VII. Basically, I'll be honest with you, what really caught me to play this was because of Crisis Core. I didn't play this in my childhood (never owned a gaming console), to be specific, I finished this 3-4 years ago. And I dare say, it is not far of a stretch to consider this the best Final Fantasy game out. All opinions of yours, I completely agree on. And yes I played it on PC, there was one before they released it on Steam.

    Warcraft 3: A damn classic.

Now for the multiplayers. It is a tie with Dota and CSS. In terms of gameplay and competitiveness, its Dota. In terms of fun and playfulness, its CS.

Man, its so nostalgic, making me think of the best games I played makes me want to relive the experience I had playing them the first time.

Other mentions (Not the best, nor favourites):
Guild Wars 2: The world is beautiful, exactly what an RPG should be like. The major bad set is, it is way too hard. Or at least, your player's HP is so ♥♥♥♥en low (or well, the Thief class). Basically 2 hits knock me down. Inspiration to play this? Not gonna lie, it was damn Sword Art Online lol.

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - It didnt live up to my expectation, though I was really hyped for it. It cant match with Oblivion but it had its share of fun. Its just... too serious for me. I don't know if I explained it well. But like, the dragons and shit are cool but, its kinda annoying how everytime I go somewhere a Dragon ♥♥♥♥en appears everytime.

Modern Warfare 1 and 2: Best FPS storylines. Nice action, every other next installments were meh.

    Complete other section for mentioning.
Maplestory: LOLOLOLOLOL. The ONLY game that ever addicted me and force me to wake up 7am in the morn for x2 exp. This game also kinda affect my typing habits...

I reckon there is a huge more that I forgot, especially handheld games. There were a lot that gave me tons of fun experiences.

PS: I wonder if there's a "My Game List" ya know, like MyAnimeList lool
