Ranks In DTK

Hey,

I was wondering how long it has taken you guys to work up rank by rank. From N how long did it take to get to M etc.

had same question before. depends on activity on forums and servers. For me like 6 months roughly but if your more active then maybe shorter

Neophytes are now in a seperate promotional set up to the rest of the ranks.

Generally if Neophytes do not have any bans or infractions, and are active on both the forums and servers, they are promoted to [M] after 3 months.

These are some of the new changes for promotions (copied and pasted for your convenience).

With regards to the next set of promotions, there will be some significant changes made:

-All ranks will undergo review and each rank's requirements will have some changes made. A member's community spirit will play a huge role in promotion considerations. Those who truly care for this community and it's members will be rewarded, on the other hand those who may be wearing DtK tags but their actions on the forums/servers could be perceived as toxic to the community might not.
- Neophyte to Member and Veteran to Jedi promotions will no longer be part of the main set of promotions (see below for more info)
- Jedi is one of the most distinguished ranks in DtK. Any member who is outstanding, represents DtK in the best possible manner and is worthy of Jedi will get promoted once certain conditions are met and not when the main set of promotions occur.
- Neophytes will now be automatically promoted to Member rank once they have completed 3 months as a Neo.
-Next set of promotions will be ~5-6 months time. (could even be earlier depending on outcome of review. Regardless of the outcome, there will definitely be another set of promotions this year)

It really depends on how much time you spend and contribute to the community. For me back when the system was a bit different (2011), I went straight from M to V in 6 months. I don't think that would be possible nowadays, but the more active you are (both ingame/forums), the higher chance of getting promoted.

Been a N all my life mang, for a good reason ofcourse, Im pretty sure isnt it when promotions come? That took a while, first it was christmas, then febuary, and april. None of those dates were true.
