    Help with sound?

Sometimes when i load a map on css, the sound randomly cuts out on my laptop. Like it mutes out off steam things too. I then have to restart for the sound to come back. Does anyone know how to fix this annoying error?

Okay, in your sounds tab there is a checkbox 'Allow other applications to take exclusive control of this audio device' make sure its unchecked.
Second of all, update your sound card drivers.

If you haven't done this, I'd also suggest it. Sometimes (No idea why) Windows mutes some applications, but still has the main volume on.
Another cause may be that it thinks someone is talking (voice chat, skype, phone call, etc, even if you don't have any of these), and might have muted or lowered the volume of everything else. There should be an option in settings somewhere to turn this feature off.
If it's not caused by these and you can't find any other software related reason, it may just be the laptop .
    Hope this helps.
