Fix for sprays!

Cant see your spray or someone elses??

Go to your cstrike folder...

C:>Program files> Steam > Steamapps> Common > CS:S> Cstrike..

See the download folder??
open it then go to User_customs.

there will be 2 digit numbers and letters folders
e.g 0F, 6D, 00, 01....

Either, copy all of them .DAT files inside, or each of them folders or delete the whole user_customs folder

Start CS:S, upload your spray, close game, go back to download>user_Customs, if you deleted your user_customs, there should only be 1 file in there, copy the .dat and and put it into a new folder called downloads (with an s), if you dont have that folder, you need to make one..

copy the .dat into the folder you just made or already have into the downloads folder, and restart CS:S, after go to a local game and test your spray, see if its working, if not disconnect from that local game and reimport your spray then try it again..

should be working now, and others can see your spray

all you need to do is go into your CSTRIKE folder in your CSS directory, if you dont know how to get there, easiest way it to go to steam... right click css, click properties... go to the third one, (should have Verify Intergrated Cache or w/e, Back up and browse local content).. Click the browse local content, that will take you to your css directory. or go to steam in Program files, then steamapps> common> CSS> CSTRIKE...

open DOWNLOAD (not DOWNLOAD(S), theres 2, one has an S and one doesnt, the one folder without the S, has your maps..)

go to User_Customs. there should be folders with digits.. like i said before.

Now make a new folder on your desktop, and copy and paste each of the Files in those folders...

they should have names like this 0b33e119.DAT or 01848574.DAT... they are your sprays, and everyone elses on the server that you join..

once you have gotten all of the sprays from each folder out, and into a new one.. copy every single one from a new folder, and put them into the DOWNLOAD(S) (with the S).

then into the downloads folder..

THIS WILL ONLY FIX YOUR SPRAY SO OTHERS CAN SEE!!!
NOT MAKE IT SO YOU CAN SEE OTHERS!!...

If you want to see others then follow this...


First.
Go to CSTRIKE, then select your DOWNLOAD and DOWNLOADS folder or just your maps., and back it up somewhere on your pc (right click, copy, desktop, right click, paste..)

GO to common. (where all your steam games are located).
right click CS:S, and delete.

Go to Steam.
Right click CS:S, Properties, DELETE LOCAL GAME CONTENT.

Still on Steam.
Reinstall CS:S.
Readd your maps folder or DOWNLOAD & DOWNLOADS.

Launch CS:S.

Reupload your spray. Join a Server. Ask someone to place a spray. and hope it works.

also there has to be an easier way cause not many people can just simple uninstall and redownload css
